Day 1 Arrival in Guwahati – Temple Tour & City Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Airport / Guwahati Railway Station, our representative will receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

Sightseeing Highlights:
1. Kamakhya Temple
2. Balaji Temple
3. Navagraha Temple

Evening Activity:
Enjoy a relaxing Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (cruise tickets are not included in the package and can be purchased directly by guests). Witness breathtaking views of the river, city skyline, and surrounding hills as the sun sets over the mighty Brahmaputra.
After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Overnight Stay: Guwahati.

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Guwahati.
  • Visit Umananda Temple and explore the local market.
  • After completing the sightseeing tour, begin your drive to Kaziranga National Park.
  • En route, enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Assam, including lush tea gardens, small villages, and beautiful countryside views.
  • Upon arrival in Kaziranga, check in to the resort/hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Afternoon Jeep Safari

After lunch, enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari through one of the safari ranges of Kaziranga National Park.

Evening Attend a traditional Bihu Dance & Cultural Program (subject to availability) showcasing the vibrant culture of Assam, or relax at the resort amidst the natural surroundings.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati.

En route, visit the famous Maha Mrityunjay Temple, home to one of the tallest Shiva Lingas in the world. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva and offers a peaceful spiritual atmosphere surrounded by scenic landscapes.

Upon arrival in Guwahati, transfer to the Airport / Railway Station / Hotel as per your departure schedule.

Had an amazing Arunachal Pradesh trip with Tourdeworld! Specially loved the scenic beauty of Tawang and the peaceful vibes of the Northeast. Every day felt like a new adventure. Truly one of the most memorable trips of my life. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and peace. Humans travel thousands of kilometers and still end up taking the same “mountain pose” photos, but Arunachal somehow makes it worth it.
Overall the experience was excellent. Just a few places had network issues and l (Read More)ong travel hours due to hilly roads, but that’s natural in Arunachal Pradesh and part of the adventure. A little more time at some sightseeing spots would have made the trip even better. Other than that, everything was very well managed.
