Day 1 Arrival at Paro Airport - Transfer to  Thimphu
  • The distance between Paro Airport and Thimphu is 65 km and would be covered in approximately 2 hours.
  • On arrival at Paro Airport, meet with smiling faces and transfer to Thimphu.
  • Upon reaching Thimphu, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
  • The distance between Thimphu and Punakha is 85 km and would be covered in approximately 3 hours.

  • It is one of the most famous monasteries in Bhutan, perched on the side of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley floor.
  • It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery, which is why it is called "Tiger's Nest".
  • This site has been recognized as a sacred place, visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646, and is now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime.
  • On April 19, 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of the building, but this Bhutanese jewel has since been restored to its original splendor.

  • Check-in is at 12:00 hrs and check-out is at 11:00 hrs.
  • Guests should remain calm with drivers, as they may not be tourism-educated and come from different remote villages.
  • Upon arrival, guests will be provided with local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation.
  • Please inform your guests to maintain the timing for sightseeing and transfers as advised by our executive.
  • The category of rooms in the packages typically includes deluxe or super deluxe rooms.
  • For an extra adult in the room, we will provide an extra bed where possible; however, some hotels only provide a roll-out bed and do not have provisions for an extra bed.
  • The operator reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
  • A child sharing a parent's room will not be provided with an extra bed.

From the moment we landed at Bagdogra airport, everything was beautifully organized — smooth transfers, comfortable stays, and a thoughtfully planned itinerary that allowed us to truly experience Bhutan’s serene beauty. Nothing felt rushed, and each day was well balanced. A special mention to our guide, Sangay Nidup, and our driver, Amber, who made the journey even more memorable. They were knowledgeable, patient, and always ensured our comfort. We didn’t just visit places — we experienced the culture, food, and hidden gems of Bhutan. Our package included three hikes in Thimpu, Phobijika valley and Paro. Our guide, Sangay made all hikes very enjoyable and informative sharing his past experiences.
