Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Negombo

Arrival at Colombo International Airport and transfer to Negombo
The leisure living resort is in Weweldeniya, 50 meters from the colombo Kandy road. We are a nature resort where you can refresh your mind by bird watching, feeling nature, playing games, rock climbing, etc.
Algama Ella Rock Climbing, National Replica Centre, Shopping, Bathik Shops, Yayagala Ancient Temple. Cane Furniture Shops can be explored.
Return to the hotel
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Colombo

Transfer to Colombo after early breakfast.
Visit Gangaramaya temple and Independence Square.
Explore local markets in the evening.
Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 Transfer to Unawatuna

After Breakfast, Check out of the hotel
Drive to Unawatuna, a beach town on the south coast.
En route, visit Unawatuna Beach, Seenigama Temple, Rumassala Temple and Rumassala Sanctuary.
Relax on the beach in the evening or explore the town (by self)
overnight in a hotel in Unawatuna.

Day 4 Unawatuna - Kataragama

After Breakfast, Check out of the hotel.
Afterward, proceed Kataragama.
En-route visit Ashok Vatika, Sita Devi Temple, Ravana Falls & Ravana Caves, and Divurumpola.
On arrival in Kataragama, check in to the hotel.
In the evening, Kataragama Temple (God Murugan Temple).
Overnight stay in Kataragama.

Day 5 Kataragama - Haputalé

After Breakfast, Check out of the hotel.
Depart for Haputalé, centrally located in the Uva Province.
En route visit Yudaganawa, Rawana Cave, Ranwana Waterfall ,St.Benedict's Monastery and Lake Richmond.
Arrive and check in to the hotel
Spend the day at leisure

Day 6 Haputalé - Nuwara Eliya

After Breakfast, check out of hotel
Afterward, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
En route, visit the Tea Plantation/Tea Factory, Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, and Ramboda Waterfalls.
On arrival in Nuwara Eliya, check in to the hotel.
In the evening, visit Gayathri Peedam.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya - Sigiriya

After Breakfast, Proceed to Sigiriya
Sigiriya is one of the most critical urban sites of the first millennium. The design of the city and palace is highly innovative and detailed. It expanded into a massive city and fortress. Most of the elaborate structures on the rock summit and around it, such as defensive structures, palaces, and gardens, were built during this period. Sigiriya is an ancient castle built by King Kashyapa in the fifth century.
Places to visit: Sigiriya Rock, Fortress, Sigiriya Museum, Pidurangala Roc,k Kandalama Lake and Dambulla Cave Temple

Day 8 Sigiriya to Airport

Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Communication, Planning of tour from the scratch, Transport and the Guide.

Accommodation in Nuwara Eliya. Room size was small in the Hotel. Can not be cons (Read More)idered as 4*. All though the Hotel Staffs were friendly. Its location also mattered. Anyway, we had to choose it among the available limited options.
