Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
- DELHI - HARIDWAR (240 kms / 6-7 hrs)
- Meet our driver at Delhi airport, station, hotel, or home and drive to Haridwar.
- Check into the hotel upon arrival in Haridwar.
- In the evening, visit Mansa Devi Temple and attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
- Overnight stay in Haridwar.
- An Evening at Ganga Aarti Haridwar: The Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar is one of the most famous rituals in India. It starts at around 6:30 PM after sunset, with large crowds gathered along both banks of the canal that carries the waters of the Ganges. Loudspeakers play songs in praise of Ganga Maiya and Shiva. During the Aarti, there is a bustle of activity on the ghats, and a pack of diyas comes fully equipped and is self-sufficient! It includes a wick lamp surrounded by flowers and lasts for around 30 minutes.
Day 2 Haridwar - Guptkashi/ Phata
- HARIDWAR - GUPTKASHI/PHATA (290 kms / 8-9 hrs)
- Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan.
- En route, you can see the beautiful Mandakini River at Tilwara.
- The Mandakini River originates from Kedarnath; drive alongside the river to reach Guptkashi and visit the ArdhNarishwar Temple.
- Check into the hotel upon arrival in Guptkashi.
- Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 3 Guptkashi/ Phata - Kedarnath
- GUPTKASHI/PHATA - SHRI KEDARNATH JI {32kms Drive/19kms Trek (One Side)}
- In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Gaurikund. The trek starts from Gaurikund to Shri Kedarnath Ji (3584 mts) on foot or by pony/Doli.
- Yatra members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolens, toiletries, and clothes for an overnight stay at Shri Kedarnath.
- Check into the hotel. After freshening up, visit the Shri Kedarnath Ji Temple and perform Pooja.
- In the evening, visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi located behind the Temple.
- Overnight stay at the Kedarnath hotel.
Day 4 Kedarnath - Guptkashi/ Phata
- SHRI KEDARNATH - GUPTKASHI/PHATA {19 kms (trek) / 32 kms, 6 hrs}
- On this day, we will stay in Guptkashi or Phata to allow buffer time to handle any last-minute delays due to bad weather or any technical or medical reasons.
- This is the best way to arrange an itinerary for both trekkers and flyers to Shri Kedarnath Ji.
- Due to a lack of geographical knowledge and awareness of the climate conditions in this divine land, some passengers, travel agents, or tour operators tend to schedule a tight program for two nights in the Kedarnath Ji region. This often creates problems and disrupts their further plans.
- You should consider covering the sightseeing or Darshan of Shri Triyugi Narayan Temple (optional and chargeable extra) to make the most of this day if we stay in Guptkashi/Phata.
Day 5 Guptkashi - Joshimath
- GUPTKASHI - JOSHIMATH / PIPALKOTI / BADRINATH (180 kms / 7 hrs)
- Start your journey early in the morning.
- Reach Badrinath and have darshan there.
- In the evening, check in to the hotel, have dinner, and rest. (19 kms trek / 32 kms, 6 hrs) (180 kms / 7 hrs)
- Shri Badrinath: Shri Badrinath is one of the most important of all the four (Char) Dhams in India. This temple is located between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges and in the shadow of Nilkantha peak at a height of 3,133 meters. It is the most popular of Vishnu pilgrimages among the five Badries, also known as Vishal Badri.
Day 6 Joshimath - Haridwar/ Rishikesh
- JOSHIMATH / PIPALKOTI - HARIDWAR / RISHIKESH (165 kms / 5-6 hrs)
- Early morning after breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Visit the temple there.
- Overnight stay at Rishikesh.
- Morning after breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh, known as the 'place of sages', is a celebrated spiritual town on the banks of the Ganga, surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi performed hard penances, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh", and this area henceforth came to be known as Rishikesh. Later, visit Rishikesh temples, including Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Stay at Haridwar.
Day 7 Rishikesh - Delhi
- Rishikesh - Delhi (240 kms / 6-7 Hrs)
- In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi.
- Transfer to the railway station or airport.

We booked package from get go trip for kedarnath from rishikesh to rishikesh the (Read More) driver we got was well experienced we never felt safety concerns on mountain road. The support from get go trip was good they were available all the time, I had to call them at 6 am from kedarnathe for some reason they answered and resolved all the queries. Cheers to get go trip especially pooja and raman.
One suggestion could be hotel cleanliness. Whatever hotel you are tied up asked (Read More)them to provide clean floors, washrooms and clean bedsheets as basic hygiene necessity. We faced issue only with hotel cleanliness otherwise the hotel caretaker in which we stayed at guptkashi was very good and understanding, infact food was simple but very delicious. Kedarnath hotel was very basic but it was justifiable because proper development is not there.

We could have Darshan at every temple spot
Better was to plan little bit earlier hotel booking has been done after reaching (Read More) the spot we had to come back at least 10 km so unnecessary travel and waiting for hotel decision, having tension, time waste. Many area network feeble location could not get timely. When we spoke to hotel they did not have information, they had to confirm. Thereafter room provided. Taxi person did not have any itinerary information.
