Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Leh

Arrival at Leh airport.
Pickup by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Enjoy welcome drinks- tea or coffee.
Check-in to the hotel for a complete day of acclimatization with the low atmospheric pressure because of the high altitude of Ladakh.
Post lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 Leh to Sham Region and Back

After breakfast, drive for a full day of sightseeing.
Visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (confluence of Zanskar and Indus river).
Back to Leh by evening.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (the world’s highest motorable road).

Arrive at Hundur by afternoon.
After lunch, you are free to explore Diskit and Hunder villages.
Enjoy a camel safari in sand dunes between Diskit and Hunder village.
Overnight stay at camp/ resort in Nubra Valley.

Day 4 Nubra Valley to Leh

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery.
Enjoy a magnificient view of Nubra Valley.
Later, drive back to Leh by same route.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5 Leh to Pangong Lake

After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake through Chang La Pass.
Chang la Pass is the third highest motorable road.
Arrival at the camp.
Enjoy hot lunch served at the camp.
Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
Enjoy the spectacular beauty of the lake.
Overnight stay at the camp at the bank of Pangong Lake.

Day 6 Pangong Lake to Leh

Early morning, enjoy the picturesque sunrise view on the lake.
After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
En route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7 Departure from Leh

After breakfast, drop to Leh airport to catch the onward flight back home.

Accommodation on twin sharing basis as per package selected.

To & fro airport transfers.

Our Innova Crysta driver Moosa was punctual and very adjusting. Hotels in Leh, Hanle & Nubra were good and comfortable. For remote locations of Pangong & Tso Moriri, the cottages there are average. Overall, our trip to Ladakh was memorable with unique beautiful landscapes and great Ladakhi hospitality.
