Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Zanzibar to Selous- Full-Day Game Viewing - Zanzibar

In the morning, you will start your safari in Zanzibar, flying in a light aircraft to the Selous, one of Africa?s most significant game reserves.
Upon arrival at Mtemere airstrip, you will be greeted by our driver guide, who will provide a briefing about your day trip tour plan.
You will begin a safari game drive, sightseeing the wildlife in the park while driving through the savannah and along the rivers and lakes.
Game drives are the best way to explore large animals such as elephants and buffaloes, as well as predators like lions.
The Selous is also home to the largest population of wild dogs in Africa, which are a highlight if you are fortunate enough to encounter a pack.
At around noon, your guide will stop for a picnic lunch in a stunning location with a clear view of the park.
After lunch, you will continue to explore the African bush before returning to the airstrip at around 16:00 for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.

59-30 days before the safari: You will be refunded 50% of the paid amount.
29 days or less before the safari: 100% of the paid amount will not be refunded.
