Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
  • Morning: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted by your safari guide. Transfer to Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains and incredible wildlife.
  • Afternoon: Arrive at your Serengeti lodge or camp, check in, and enjoy lunch.
  • Evening: Embark on an introductory game drive in the Serengeti. Explore the expansive savannahs, spotting iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, and wildebeests.
  • Overnight: Stay at a lodge or tented camp in Serengeti National Park.
  • Morning: Start with an early morning game drive to catch the Serengeti’s wildlife at its most active. Look out for predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as large herds of herbivores.
  • Afternoon: Return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, continue your game drive or enjoy a guided nature walk to explore the park's diverse ecosystems.
  • Evening: Optionally, take a sunset game drive to witness the stunning colors of the Serengeti at dusk. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
  • Morning: After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes and the highland regions of Tanzania.
  • Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and check in. Enjoy lunch with views over the crater.
  • Evening: Relax at your lodge and enjoy dinner. Optionally, you may visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
  • Overnight: Stay at a lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.
  • Morning: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports a high density of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, and large herds of buffalo and zebra.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before departing for Tarangire National Park. The drive offers scenic views of Tanzania’s varied landscapes.
  • Evening: Arrive at your Tarangire lodge or camp, check in, and enjoy dinner. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees.
  • Overnight: Stay at a lodge or tented camp in Tarangire National Park.
  • Morning: After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire. Look for elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife as you explore the park’s diverse habitats.
  • Late Morning: Return to your lodge for a brief rest and check out.
  • Afternoon: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

Let me take this wonderful opportunity to introduce to you this wonderful Tour Company. We had so much fun! They're conveniently located in Nairobi city in Kenya. The pickup was on time from bus an (Read More)d from hotel. And the tours in the Masai Mara were fabulous with their extended Landcruiser trucks. I enjoyed getting very close to the animals and the driver was not in a hurry to get us out of the rare moments. If you're looking, I strongly recommend this company.
