Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and begin your journey towards Dambulla. Depending on your flight arrival time, proceed for an en-route visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness elephants being cared for and observe their daily routines. Continue to Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient cave temples, Buddha statues, and impressive wall paintings. Thereafter, transfer to your hotel in Dambulla for check-in and relaxation. Overnight stay in Dambulla.
After breakfast, proceed to visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient frescoes, mirror wall, and panoramic views from the summit. Later, continue your drive to Kandy. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka. Explore the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, followed by a visit to a Gem Museum and Gem Shop to learn about Sri Lanka’s precious gemstones. Conclude the day with a Kandy city tour, covering key landmarks and viewpoints. Overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast, drive towards Nuwara Eliya, enjoying the scenic hill-country landscapes en route. Stop to visit the picturesque Ramboda Waterfalls, followed by a visit to a Tea Factory and Tea Garden, where you will learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a tasting session. Continue to visit the Sitha Amman Temple, associated with the Ramayana legend. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a leisurely walk around Gregory Lake, visit Victoria Park, and proceed for a Nuwara Eliya city tour, often referred to as 'Little England.' Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, depart for Bentota, traveling through scenic countryside and coastal routes. En route, enjoy a tranquil Madu River Safari, exploring mangroves, small islands, and rich birdlife. Continue with a visit to a Turtle Hatchery Farm, where you can learn about sea turtle conservation efforts. On arrival in Bentota, proceed for a brief Bentota city tour and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax by the beach or enjoy resort facilities. Overnight stay in Bentota.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital. Upon arrival, enjoy a comprehensive Colombo city tour, covering landmarks such as Independence Square, Galle Face Green, Old Parliament area, and prominent temples and churches. Later, enjoy time for shopping at popular malls and local markets, perfect for souvenirs and handicrafts. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Colombo.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable journey through Sri Lanka.
