Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Bangalore

Arrive at Bangalore airport or railway station and proceed to the hotel.
Check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour of Bangalore.
Visit Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Iskcon Temple, and Vidhana Soudha.
Later, visit Commercial Street for some shopping.
By evening, return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Bangalore.

Day 2 Bangalore to Mysore

After breakfast, proceed to Mysore.
On the way, visit Srirangapatna, which was the capital of King Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan.
By noon, arrive in Mysore.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Mysore Palace, one of the major attractions in Mysore.
Next, visit Mysore Zoo, where you can see some rare species of wildlife.
In the evening, proceed to the world-famous Brindavan Gardens, which span over 150 acres.
Enjoy a musical fountain and light show in the gardens.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 3 Mysore to Ooty

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Ooty.
On the way, pass through Bandipur and Mudumalai forests.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Spend the evening shopping and engaging in other activities.
Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 4 Explore Ooty

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ooty.
Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in Ooty, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding regions.
Return to Ooty town by noon.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Botanical Garden, established in 1847, and Ooty Lake, where boating and horseback riding are available.
In the evening, visit Coonoor.
Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 5 Ooty to Kodaikanal

After breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Spend the evening at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 6 Explore Kodaikanal

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day local tour of Kodaikanal.
Visit Bryant Park, Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rock, and Suicide Point.
In the evening, visit Kodai Lake, the man-made star-shaped lake that spans over sixty acres.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 7 Departure

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Bangalore or Coimbatore.
You will be dropped off at the Bangalore or Coimbatore airport or railway station for your onward journey home.

I went for a 7 days trip with Best of Globe and visited Madurai, Trichy, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram. The hotels they suggested was perfect fit for our budget, and also clean and c (Read More)omfortable. The cab driver was very supportive, even helped us in odd hours sometimes for dinner.
