Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli

Pick up from Nairobi to Amboseli. Enjoy great scenic views along the way. Arrive at Amboseli around lunch time. After relaxation enjoy an evening game drive.

After breakfast, head out for an amazing game drive and get a great view of wildlife in their natural habitats. Also, you can enjoy a visit to the Maasai village or Ballon safari (both optional)

Check out after breakfast. Head for Lake Nakuru national park. There is an optional boat ride at lake Naivasha on the way to Nakuru. Enjoy an evening game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.

After breakfast enjoy an early breakfast enroute to Maasai mara. Arrive in time for lunch. Check in relax and later on enjoy an evening game drive.

Here you have 2 options; to enjoy a full day at the park with picnic lunch or enjoy morning and evening game drives. Also, you can enjoy a visit to the Maasai village or Ballon safari (both optional)

After breakfast head to Nairobi for drop off at hotel or airport.

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Well done İmara Destinations. Thanks to Dennis and Murray for it

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

The entire trip was handled with extreme professionalism by both Janet and our g (Read More)uide Bonnie. We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
We didn't expect Kenya to be so cold, so at some places we missed warm water for (Read More) wash
