Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East'. Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.
After breakfast, depart for a whole day excursion to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in India, situated 90 kms from Shillong. Visit Dawki, a small village 2 kms from Bangladesh, known for the Umngot River. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. Enjoy Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Seven Sister Waterfalls. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, home of the One-Horned Rhinoceros. Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning, explore Kaziranga. In the afternoon, go for a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Return to the resort for breakfast and then drive to Dirang, visiting Tipi Orchidarium along the way. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Dirang.
After breakfast, drive to Tawang. En route, witness the snow-capped Sella Pass and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Visit Nuranang Falls before reaching Tawang. Overnight in Tawang.
After breakfast, take a day trip to Sangestar Tso (Madhuri Lake) and Bum La Pass. A special permit is required to visit Bum La Pass. Overnight at Tawang.
After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila, known for its Buddhist monasteries. Check in to the hotel and visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple. In the afternoon, transfer to Guwahati airport/Railway station.
