Day 1 Transfer by Road from JKIA to Tsavo East National Park

  • Upon arrival at JKIA airport and after clearing customs, you will be met by a company representative and a driver guide.
  • After the meet and greet, you will be briefed about the tour and then depart for Tsavo East National Park.
  • You will drive to arrive in time for lunch at Voi Wildlife Lodge.
  • Tsavo East National Park is renowned for its large numbers of red elephants, man-eating lions, and features such as:

  • After breakfast, you will depart for the neighboring Tsavo West National Park. The park is a vast expanse of the African savannah, featuring a diverse array of habitats, including open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills, and rock outcrops. It is famous for its wildlife, including oryx, gerenuk, and elephants, as well as a variety of birdlife. Other notable features include the Shetani lava flow and ash cones.
  • You will have a lunch break at Serena Kilaguni Safari Lodge. After lunch, you will enjoy a game drive in the park until evening, when you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • The boat takes you on a scenic tour of the lake, including a visit to Crescent Island, which is an animal and bird sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha.
  • A variety of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake area, such as Maasai giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, steenboks, impalas, gazelles, and hippos, mostly at night.

  • At 1700 hours, you will return to where you left your driver and then drive to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
