Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuntsholing

Meet and greet at Bagdogra Airport and drive to Phuntsholing via the Beautiful Doors Tea Garden. The drive takes approximately 4 hours.
Check into the hotel and take a rest.
Evening stroll around Zangdupelri Chorten and Phuntsholing town.
Overnight stay in Phuntsholing.

Day 2 Drive to Thimphu and Sightseeing on the way

After breakfast at the hotel, head to the Immigration office for clearance.
Drive to Thimphu through scenic forests, hills, and mountains, which will take approximately 4 hours.
Stop along the way at Gedhu, Whankha Waterfall, and Chonzom for sightseeing.
Check in to the hotel and take a rest.
Enjoy an evening stroll around Thimphu Clock Tower Square and the town.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Punakha Day Excursions

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Punakha for sightseeing. The journey will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
On the way, we will stop at Dochu La Pass for sightseeing and photography. On a clear day, we can see 108 stupas and the beautiful Himalayan ranges.
Stop at Chimi Lhakhan (Temple of Fertility). If you are planning to have a baby, this is a must-visit place.
Visit Punakha Dzong, the beautiful fortress in Bhutan.
Explore Bhutan's longest suspension bridge and interact with locals across the bridge.
Drive back to Thimphu.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4 Thimphu Local Sightseeing and Drive to Paro

Buddha Point (Buddha Dordenma Statue), the tallest Buddha statue in the world
Simply Bhutan, the living museum
The Royal Textile Museum
National Institute for Zorig Chusum, to see Bhutanese architecture
Mini Zoo & Sangaygan View Point (BBS Tower) – beautiful view of Thimphu Valley
Tashicho Dzong (Thimphu Dzong)
Visit the craft market (Bazar) / Walk around Centenary Park
Drive to Paro

Day 5 Tiger's Nest Hike and Paro Local Sightseeing

After an early breakfast at the hotel, start the Tiger’s Nest hike. The hike will take between 5 to 8 hours, depending on the guest's hiking ability.
This is a must-see location in Bhutan.
Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Paro Airport.
Stroll around Paro town in the evening for last-minute shopping and photography.
Experience a hot stone bath to relax after the tiring hike to Tiger’s Nest.
Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 Paro Local Sightseeing and Drive to Phuntsholing

After breakfast, visit Paro Dzong (Nya-mey Zam) and Paro Museum (Ta Dzong).
Drive to Phuntsholing.

We had a private tour as we were carrying our 2 year old kid. During the trip our stay and sightseeing were very comfortable. We did not face any issue. This is one of the best time we had in bhutan just because if asia valley tours. We received the 5 star service our during entire trip. Guide and driver both were very helpful.

The itinerary was flawlessly planned and executed, perfectly accommodating even the smallest of our needs along the way.
