Day 1 Arrival in Jodhpur

On Arrival at Jodhpur our transporter will meet you and then proceed to Hotel. Check in hotel and after refreshment visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Ummaid Bhawan Palace. evening visit colorful local market. Overnight stay at Jodhpur Hotel.

Morning after Breakfast check out from Hotel and drive for Jaisalmer. En route visit Jaisalmer War Museum. Arrive and check in at hotel later see the man made Gadsisar lake (Jaisalmer's only source of water for a long period ), Patwo ki Haveli and the royal cenotaphs at Bada Bagh. Overnight at Jaisalmer hotel.

After breakfast check out hotel and visit Jaisalmer Fort one of the largest fortifications in the world, Surya Gate the 12th century gate, the Surya Gate is found at the famous Jaisamler Fort popularly known as 'Golden Fort'. Evening visit Sand dunes. Overnight at Camp.

Overall it was definitely a satisfying experience having a tour planned with Sun (Read More) Voyages. They suggested me an itinerary which I customised according to my choices and schedules and they gave me a perfect schedule that was well in my budget. The driver was quite flexible with schedule and allowed changes to original plan as the travel proceeded. The hotels included in the itinerary were all 3 stars and were quite good!
The food in Jaisalmer camp was little disappointing, to which they justified say (Read More)ing it was an off season and couldn’t make the arrangements well.
