Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Kaziranga and Visit Orchid Park
- You will be received at Guwahati Railway Station/airport on arrival at Guwahati.
- Transfer to Kaziranga.
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- In the evening visit Orchid Park.
- Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 2 Enjoy a Elephant/ Jeep Safari - Visit Umiam Lake and Transfer to Shillong
- In the early morning go for the pre-booked elephant safari into the jungle( Own cost ) .
- Enjoy the thrill of jungle safari.
- Go for a jeep safari through the park (optional: payment on your own).
- Later proceed to Shillong, which is also called 'Scotland of the East".
- On the way visit Umiam Lake at Barapani ( if time Permits)
- On arrival at Shillong, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 3 Shillong to Dawki via Jowai , Stay Dawki /Mawlynnong
- Visit Phe Phe Falls
- Explore the beautiful hidden waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful natural landscapes.
- Enjoy a short scenic trek and spend time amidst the serene atmosphere.
- Visit one of Meghalaya’s most stunning turquoise waterfalls known for its crystal-clear waters.

Day 4 Visit Crystal River - Visit Living Root Bridge and Transfer to Cherrapunjee
- After breakfast proceed to visit the Crystal River in Dawki and Bangladesh Border Gate.
- Transfer to Cherrapunjee.
- On the way visit the Cleanest Village Mawlynnong, Living root bridge, Balancing rock.
- In the evening reach Cherrapunjee.
- On arrival check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 5 Trek to Double Decker Root Bridge & Blue Lagoon , Stay cherrapunjee
- Explore Double Decker Living Root Bridge
- Trek through lush forests and stone pathways to witness the famous natural living root bridge of Meghalaya.
- Experience the unique bio-engineering marvel created by the Khasi tribes over generations.
- Visit Rainbow Waterfall

Day 7 Shillong to Guwahati Drop - Tour Ends - Travel time 3 hours , 190 Kms
- Move towards Guwahati and Drop
- Maa Kamakhya Temple ( Quick visit ) - For Puja time of 7 hours required and you may opt VIP tickets separately
- Visit Umananda Temple
- Explore the ancient Shiva temple located on Umananda Island, surrounded by the scenic Brahmaputra River.

- Landslides/Rerouting: If routes change due to landslides or government guidelines, any additional costs incurred must be paid by the guest at the point of change.
- Unforeseen Expenses: Costs arising from natural calamities such as landslides, road blockages, political disturbances, etc., are to be borne by the client and payable on the spot.

Rumi was the person I contacted, and she was with us throughout the trip, always available whenever we needed assistance. She created a Wh (Read More)atsApp group including me, my husband, herself, and our driver, which made communication very easy and ensured that each day went smoothly without any issues. This was one of the best arrangements any travel agency could provide.
We were also fortunate to have Montu as our driver. He was extremely helpful, cheerful, and made our journey even more enjoyable. We loved every stay arranged by the agency, and the food provided at the accommodations was excellent as well.

It was a great experience with Inderoots Travel. The way they planned the journey and selected the places was impressive. I truly loved and enjoyed every moment. It was a luxe trip, and the destinations they chose were absolutely wonderful.
On the first day, the hotel had not been checked for a king-size bed, so I ended up with a twin-size bed instead. Since this was my honeymoon trip, it was quite disappointing. I informed the team and requested that they double-confirm the bed type with every hotel going forward to avoid such issues.
