Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at the airport or from your hotel, you'll be warmly received by your Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris tour driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, set out from Nairobi towards the legendary Masai Mara, travelling via the Great Rift Valley. Stop en route to take in panoramic views of the escarpment, then continue through the scenic Hemingway trails to Narok town. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, check in to your camp or lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the reserve, witnessing the dramatic landscapes and wildlife including the migrating wildebeest, zebras, cheetahs, elephants, lions, buffalos, and other members of the Big Five.
After breakfast at around 07:30 AM, spend the entire day exploring the vast, wildlife-rich plains and rolling hills of Masai Mara. This iconic reserve is renowned for its abundant plains game, black-maned lions, elusive leopards, swift cheetahs, and massive elephant herds. Lunch will be served picnic-style near the Mara River, which marks the border between Kenya and Tanzania and is famed for the annual wildebeest migration. Post lunch, continue your game drive, venturing into various regions of the reserve. Return to camp by 5:30 PM.
Optional (At additional cost): Visit a local Maasai village or take a guided nature walk with Maasai warriors.
After an early breakfast at 06:30 AM, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru, with lunch served en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. In the afternoon, set off on a game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, a globally renowned bird sanctuary. The park lies within the Great Rift Valley, which stretches from Jordan to Mozambique. During the right season, the lake’s alkaline waters attract thousands of pink flamingos. Other possible sightings include rhinos, hippos, giraffes, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and various species of birds.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through the park where you may spot waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, lions, and buffalos. Return to the lodge around lunchtime, check out, and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in the evening and check in to your hotel in time to enjoy the beautiful African sunset.
After an early breakfast, head out for a unique excursion to Hell’s Gate National Park, named after a dramatic break in the cliffs that once fed a prehistoric lake. Embark on a guided 2-hour biking safari through the park, encountering herds of zebra, eland, Thomson’s gazelles, and hartebeest. Hell’s Gate is also a paradise for bird lovers, home to more than 100 species including Evreux’s eagles, vultures, augur buzzards, and swifts.
Continue on foot through gorges and caves sculpted by millennia of water and wind. After a 1-hour nature walk, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture and traditional lifestyle.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive through Amboseli, known for its picturesque views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and a bird count of over 500 species. Later, drive back to Nairobi with countless memories and stunning photos. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.

The four day trip to Kenya was one of the best experiences of my life. The road from Nairobi to Maasai Mara was an adventure of sorts. Along the way, the views of the villages, the vast plains, and the smiles of the people were truly heartwarming. Communication was good, any time we had a question, Alfred responded immediately via WhatsApp and email. If you actively ask about anything about the to (Read More)ur, they respond immediately. On our first afternoon game drive to Masai Mara, we saw a huge herd of elephants, a lion family resting nearby, and zebras and antelopes running in the distance. At sunset, the entire sky was painted orange and gold - a sight that will be remembered forever. When I went to Lake Nakuru on the third day, the pink color of the numerous flamingos there seemed to give a different look to the whole lake. There we also saw the rhinoceros, which was one of the most special moments of the trip. Accommodation was very comfortable, and the food was good. Our guide was very experienced and patient, always looking out for the animals and sharing a lot of information. The whole trip was very smooth and beautiful. I would definitely recommend Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris.
We had no buts about anything.

This one-day trip from within the city of Nairobi was a wonderful experience for us. As we entered Nairobi National Park in the morning, we were surprised to see lions and giraffes roaming in the green forest behind the high-rise buildings of the city. This rare phenomenon is not seen anywhere else in the world. Our guide explained everything very sincerely throughout, explaining in advance which (Read More)places more animals can be seen. The car was very comfortable, and everything was done on time. This one-day city excursion is a really nice package for those who want to spend some time in Nairobi.
There was no problem with anything.

In the first two days of climbing the Sirimon route, many giant trees and dry slopes had to be climbed. Although the path was a little difficult, but gradually after reaching Mackinders Valley, the scene changed completely - rocky valleys around and a strange calm environment. The guide was very helpful and briefed us well every day before the walk. At night, the food in the camps is served hot, w (Read More)hich is really relaxing in the cold weather.

The start was to walk across the Great Rift Valley - a great view out the window! As soon as I entered Masai Mara, I understood why everyone talks so much - I saw the lion and the elephant in the first afternoon's game drive. The thrill of watching the cheetah hunt the next morning still lingers in the body. On the third day of Lake Nakuru, rows of pink flamingos on the shore of the lake, with rhi (Read More)no - fantastic! At the end, the parade of elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park in the background - a postcard moment in a word. Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris did everything on time; the jeep is comfortable, the food is good, and the guide, Joseph, is knowledgeable and very polite.
Long travel hours, but worth it.

On the first morning of my journey from Nairobi, I felt as if I had stepped into another world. Not only the road, but the villages on both sides of the road, the green valleys and the occasional wild animals - all this seemed to paint a new canvas in the eyes. The moment I entered the Masai Mara, the sight of the endless wilderness came to my mind. On the evening of the second day, as the sun slo (Read More)wly tilted to the west, the entire savanna was filled with golden light - the most magical moment of the trip. The lively narration and safe driving by the guide made the entire trip comfortable.

On the first day, when I set out on my way to Masai Mara in a 4x4 jeep, I felt like stepping into an unknown adventure. Along the way, we saw giraffes, elephants, and even lions resting on the side of the road. Arriving in the afternoon, on the first game drive, I saw three members of the Big Five. On the second day, I was shocked to see the endless stream of wildebeest migration - thousands of an (Read More)imals crossing the river together, and crocodiles waiting nearby. The nights were spent in luxurious lodges, where every room had a view of the stars in the African sky.
Everything was organized normally, they had nothing to dislike.

Our visit to Samburu was a unique experience. As we left the hustle and bustle of the city for northern Kenya, the scene changed. Although the roads were a bit rough, the guide was driving with great care. The famous reticulated giraffe was the first thing I saw when I arrived at the Samburu Reserve! Their design is very different. Then I saw the long-necked gerenuk walk right past our car. The mo (Read More)st exciting was the Ewaso Nyiro River. There I saw huge crocodiles sleeping together. It was certainly a great opportunity to see nature up close outside the city.
Road conditions could be better.
