Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi & Half-Day City Tour (SIC)
- Upon reaching Hanoi, complete the immigration and visa-on-arrival process at the airport. Meet our driver at the airport and board your transfers to reach the pre-booked hotel; early check-in.
- Complete the check-in procedure at the hotel and get ready to explore this capital city of Vietnam. Our car will pick up at the hotel at around 13h30.
- 13:30: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.
- 14:30: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam. The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. It was founded in 1070.
- 15:30: Continue to visit Hoa Lo Prison. The French built the prison from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth,” and now it is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France and the Vietnamese people.
- 17:30: Our Bus will take you back to the Hotel. We finish the trip!
Day 2 Full-Day Ninh Binh Tour (SIC)
- 07:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide in your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in Lily’s office in Hoan Kiem district, then depart for Ninh Binh province
- 10:15: Have a short break for 15–20 minutes to relax
- 11:30: Visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam, between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty
- 14 ;00: Visit Trang An. With two and a half hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here. Then continue to Mua Cave, with 500 steps hiking to the top of the mountain, a stunning view of Tam Coc is waiting for you
- 18:00: Get on the transportation to return to your accommodation
- Come back to Hanoi, we will drop you back to the hotel in the Old Quarter at 19:30
Day 3 2 Days & 1 Night Cruise on Ha Long Bay (SIC)
- 07:45-08:30:You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Ha Long
- 11:30-12:00: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome from our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete the check-in procedure.
- 12:30: Upon boarding on cruise , our crew welcomes you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before entering your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Surprising Cave. Enjoy your lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Surprising Cave.
- 14:45: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. After that, we will take you to visit Titop Island – swimming, climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Ha Long Bay in the Summer time.
- 17:30-18:00: Back on board, you will participate in a Sunset Party & Cooking Class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and a beautiful sunset. Ha Long Bay is calm during the day, but the Bay becomes even more tranquil and peaceful when the sun goes down. Our chef will instruct you to make delicious Fresh Spring rolls and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.
- 17:30-18:30: Happy hour – BUY 2 DRINK GET 1 FOR FREE (cocktails, mocktails…)
- 19:00-20:00: Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable). After dinner, you will enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. Enjoy music and some drinks at Sky Bar while admiring the breathtaking view of the Bay at night or squid fishing. The cruise ship anchors for your peaceful night stay in a quiet area
Day 4 Return to Hanoi & Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City
- 06:45-07:30: Breakfast on board while the boat cruises toward the Natural Preservation Area.
- 07:45-09:00: Kayaking at Luon Cave.
- 09:30: Check out of your cabin.
- 10:00: Early Breakfast on board.
- 11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and return to Hanoi for an airport transfer to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 5 Full-Day Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour (SIC)
- 7:30 a.m: Our guide picks you up at your hotel and takes you to Cu Chi Tunnel by minivan for one and a half hours.
- The peaceful rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of the road. You will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage, and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone. “ The remnants you will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. Ever wonder what it feels like to fire an AK-47? Visit Cu chi tunnels, you have a chance to find out!
- Afternoon: We will drive for two hours from Cu Chi to My Tho city. On the way to My Tho, we will stop at a restaurant for lunch.
- Upon arrival in My Tho City, the boat takes you to a small canal, where you totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise in the coconut trees canal takes you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We disembark and have a walk around the village. We stop at a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music and performances by the villagers.
- Continue walking on the village’s road to the coconut candy shop, where you can learn how to make candy and see some handicrafts made from coconut trees. Then, take a walk through the village with two sides. There are so many kinds of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, and children in the Mekong delta. Take your time to take nice photos and enjoy the natural scenery.
- 17:00 – 17:30: going back to Ho Chi Minh City.
- 19:00: Tour ends at your hotel
Day 6 Half-Day Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Departure
- Have a breakfast and get ready for Half day tour
- Start the trip for exploring the great atmosphere around of lively China town. Get into the rythm of this busiest and colourful scenes of Binh Tay market and Thien Hau Temple. We then visit the War Remnants Museum.
- Start the trip at the travel office to visit Reunification Palace, which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, and the Old Central Post Office. After visiting the City Hall, take a break at Ben Thanh market, where anything and everything is for sale. Return to District 1. Tour ends.
- Airport transfer and departure back to home
