Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli National Park (215 km, 3-4 hrs)

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel by our driver-guide. Depart Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, passing through African savannah and local villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Ambokilli Cottages

After breakfast, depart from Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the lake, home to abundant birdlife and hippos. After lunch, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, then continue your journey to Lake Nakuru. Check into your lodge, unwind, and enjoy dinner at the Hotel Waterbuck.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingos and rhinos. After breakfast, relax at the lodge before checking out and departing for Masai Mara. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge or camp, and visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture. Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration. Explore the reserve, have a picnic lunch, and continue your game drive in the afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive with lunch en route. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you can opt for a short city tour before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport.

James swiftly emerged as the singular operator I wished to proceed with, and here’s why: - Having substantial on-ground experience from spending extensive time on the safaris himself, he adeptly crafted a honeymoon package that perfectly suited my wife and me. - He adeptly navigated our budget flexibilities and constraints to arrange an impressive array of delightful lodges and activities, focusing on maximising our day-to-day adventures, ensuring each day on safari and at the lodges offered a unique experience. - A skilled photographer himself, James's comprehensive knowledge of various reserves and animal behaviours provided him with a distinct advantage in predicting animal locations and optimal times for photography, whether capturing sunrises, sunsets, or other moments. - Our priority was to maximise game time and reserve experiences.
