/personOur representative will meet you on arrival at the airport. You will have a small briefing on what to expect during the safari later you will proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve and enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, the northern part of the Serengeti, and one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as you track the Big 5, lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalo, zebras, and numerous plains game. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5/other predators. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight at the camp. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures
We have a very flexible itinerary, and game drives are tailored to your interests with our experienced professional safari guide. An early-morning game drive with a picnic breakfast gives you a better chance of catching the sunrise and seeing animals while they are still active. The morning serenity is simply unexplainable; you just have to experience it. Explore more of the spotted savannah with its diverse landscapes to capture beautiful animals with your lenses. The Mara River, where river crossings happen in July, August, and September, is the main water body snaking its way through this paradise. Hippopotamuses and the Nile crocodile call this home, and it’s the best place in the reserve to catch a glimpse of them as they warm themselves on the riverbanks. Other rivers include the Talek River and smaller tributaries like the Sekenani River. The Sand River is another picturesque area at the Masai Mara, and it lies right at the border with the endless plains of the Serengeti. All this, as our safari guide explains more about nature as it unfolds right in front of you, getting you the best angles for that shot! After a fulfilling, adventurous day, you retire to your strategically located safari camp/lodge for a sumptuous dinner and overnight.
Final Day with us. After breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi. You will arrive by early evening, and you will be transferred to your Nairobi hotel, your residence, or the Airport.
