Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival - Airport to Sigiriya

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Sigiriya/Dambulla/Minneriya. Visit the Golden Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to explore the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for being the site of the largest known gathering of wild Asian elephants.

Day 2 Sigiriya to Colombo

After breakfast, drive to Colombo and check in to your hotel. Later, embark on a Colombo city tour including attractions such as the Lotus Tower, Galle Face Beach, the Lighthouse, and local markets. Explore the scenic Port City and its Beach Park, perfect for beach views, fun activities, and great food. Spend the evening visiting shopping malls, casinos, and enjoy fine dining at food courts or restaurants.

Day 3 Colombo to Bentota

Post breakfast, travel to Bentota. The day is filled with adventure and relaxation with beach activities and water sports such as snorkeling, diving, and banana boat rides. Enjoy a peaceful Madu Ganga River Safari through the mangroves, along with a natural fish massage experience. End the day with a visit to the Sea Turtle Hatchery.

Day 4 The Day of Departure - Bentota to Airport

Breakfast at the hotel, relax, and check out. Leave Colombo 3.5 hours prior to the departure time.

• Trip to Colombo, Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains National Park & World's End, Galle

Communication was spot on from day 1. Mr. Zaheen has excellent communication skills and was ever-ready to answer all our questions no matter how trivial. 2. He was extremely polite and courteous and explained in detail, our iteniary and suggested changes wherever necessary. 3. Very well connected in Srilanka and offered us the best chauffeur and very comfortable travel during the course of our (Read More)trip. 4. Zaheen makes it a point to meet with all his clients and this is a very good thing in my opinion as it makes us feel all the more special and adds just that personal touch. 5. He also made it a point to keep in touch with us during the whole trip asking if we were comfortable throughout he journey. 6. Hotels were decent at most places including a good spread of items on the menu. 7. Overall Tourbirds and Mr.Zaheen in particular offered us the very best service and thanks to him, we take back very fond memories of this place, back to India. As any great travel agency, there are always areas where one can improve and I appreciate that Tourbirds and Zaheen take feedback constructively and work on ways to improve. 1. One issue we had with our hotel at Mirissa ( Mandara Resort) was that there was no lift facility and we were alloted a room on the 2nd floor, making it very difficult for my aged mom to travel up and down. Please be more m (Read More)indful of this the next time. 2. The gala dinner which we looked forward too had absolutely nothing on the menu for vegetarians at our Hotel in Colombo.( Hotel MaRadha).We literally had just fruits for dinner that day and it was not just us but a lot of other guest who were complaining about the limited menu for vegetarians . Please ensure that you give feedback about this to the hotel. 3. Also Driver accomodation should be looked into more seriously, as some of the hotels lacked in basic amenities and hygiene. At Colombo, the hotel did not have a facility for drivers to camp the night and hence our driver had to find a room 8-9 kms away from the Hotel.

We embarked on a 6N7D trip to Sri Lanka that covered Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Bentota. There were many memorable experiences like the visit to the Elephant Orphanage, the Moon Plains, The Bird (Read More) Sanctuary, the Turtle Conservation Centre, and the various water sports in bentota, which the kids enjoyed thoroughly. The trip was also made memorable by our driver and tour guide, Mr. Rashid Ali, who was knowledgeable, soft-spoken, and very helpful. He took us to good spots, asked us to engage with good vendors and suggested great food during our trip. Overall, the experience was smooth, the hotels in the package were great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a good time. Food options at Earl's Reef, Bentota were dismal.

All the arrangements was done properly( much professionally) hotels, pick up from Airport, sigh (Read More)t seeing places, taking us to restaurants, doping us back to Airport (7 nights and 8 days) was excellent... ***** Before I proceed further, me and my wife convey our sincere thanks to Tourbirds for making our tour memorable one. We had been traveling a lot but this outing was totally different and you were (Read More) the one who made the difference. Bentota beach and Tropical Life Resort Dambulla location and accommodation arranged by you, were really good. Wished we could have stayed a bit longer. Nuvara Elea was very scenic. It was good arrangement that took us to religious places associated with Hindu religion. Tooth relic temple in Kandy was also nice and looked beautiful at night. Visit other places arranged in itinerary were worth visiting. Dhananjaya Cab Driver/ guide was really nice. He explained history of every place visited before we started the journey.
