Day 1 Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. As you enter the park, the lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees immediately immerse you in a true African wilderness. During the day, expect to spot a wide array of wildlife including buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and the elusive blue monkeys. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions—a unique spectacle, though it depends on your luck. In the right season, the lake’s shoreline may dazzle you with millions of flamingos, painting it pink. The game drive will continue until the evening, with a picnic lunch break in between. After the drive, return to your camp or lodge for a freshly prepared dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour

Start your day with an early breakfast before descending into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive lasting approximately five hours. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife. You might encounter lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, rhinos, jackals, antelopes, and a wide variety of birds including eagles, vultures, storks, ibis, kori bustards, plovers, herons, and cattle eagles. Around midday, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool before making your way back up the crater rim. A two-hour drive will then bring you to your accommodation in Karatu, where a warm dinner awaits. After two adventure-filled days, a good night’s rest is essential before your final day.

Day 3 Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After a delightful breakfast, you will depart by 8:00 AM for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. The half-day game drive here offers a chance to see a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, kudu, buffaloes, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. The Tarangire River, a year-round water source, attracts abundant game, making for excellent wildlife viewing. By mid-afternoon, you will begin your return journey to Arusha. Expect to arrive by around 6:00 PM, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.
