Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Haridwar to Barkot
  • Drive to Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie.
  • En route, visit Kempty Fall and other attractions.
  • Drive straight to your hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti.
  • Trek to Yamunotri (6 km).
  • You can choose to walk, ride a horse, or use a Doli at your own cost.
  • At Yamunotri, you can cook rice in the hot water of the kund and take it home as 'Prasad'.
  • After taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund and having 'Darshan' of Yamunaji, return to Jankichatti.
  • Drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay.
  • Drive to Uttarkashi.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Visit Vishwanath Temple in the evening.
  • Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
  • Proceed to Gangotri (3048 meters), enjoying picturesque views of Harsil village and the Bhagirathi River.
  • After Gangotri Darshan, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
  • Early morning drive directly to Guptkashi.
  • Check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Drive to Gaurikund.
  • Trek to Kedarnath (3584 meters) on foot or by pony/Doli.
  • Carry personal medicines, warm clothing, and toiletries for an overnight stay at Kedarnath.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Later, visit Kedarnath Temple.
  • After visiting Temple Darshan, trek down to Gaurikund.
  • Later, drive to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi.

  • Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti.
  • Overnight stay.
  • Early morning, pilgrims can bathe in Taptkund and have Darshan of Badrivishal.
  • Visit significant sites such as Mana, Vyas Gufa, and Bhimkund.
  • Later, drive back to Joshimath, Pandukeshwar, or Govindghat.
  • Check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
  • Early morning visit to Narsingh Temple and Shankracharaya Math.
  • Drive back to Rishikesh/Haridwar.
