"The Birthplace of Aviation"

Ohio, USA

Ohio is a state that is often enveloped in its reputation as a rural and dairy settlement. This is only a fraction of the states identity as nature and small-town retreat and an urban wonderland full of amusement parks, cultural museums and a sunny climate. The state is known as the birthplace of aviation with the Wright Brothers famously flying the first plane to ever be built on its grounds- a feat the local population prides.

Ohio features a population that is distinct for the many changes its demography has undergone and there are few states that offer the authentic taste of American culture like Ohio does. Ohio features some brilliant natural topography that tourists routinely visit; some popular destinations being the Franklin Park Conservatory and the Hocking Hills State Park. Park officials host several outdoor activities at Ohio State park and its terrain is dotted with inviting cottages to offer the complete getaway experience.

For visitors coming to Ohio for a shorter duration, the state features the largest Amish settlement in the U.S- a region that is frequented as a small-town retreat with one of the most famous communities in the country, known for their simple way of life. Ohio, like most states in the U.S, features an impressive lineup of specific museums that strike the fancy of every type of visitor to the state.

The Cincinnati Museum Center and the Toledo and Cleveland Museums of Art are some of the most famous ones, each located in the cosmopolitan core of the state of Ohio. The state is an industrial region and each of the cities in Ohio all features a personality that reflects this segment of Ohio's history. Sandusky is one such particular city, along with the cities of Cleveland and Cincinnati- the latter of which is home to the world-famous Cincinnati Zoo. The Fountain Square in Cincinnati is a much-photographed region, distinct for its architecture and geographical location.
