With a plethora of walking tours and hiking trails, witnessing the extremely diverse wildlife and vegetation, and the stunning views from around the park, including that of Cradle Mountain itself. For the brave-hearted, the Overland Track, which begins from Weindorfer's Chalet, is a six-day walk across the park, ending at the magnificent Lake St. Claire. The area around the lake itself is a treat to the eyes, especially during the spring and summer months when lush and colourful wildlfowers like orchids and leatherwoods are growing in numbers. The lakeside can also be directly accessed from the southern entrance of the park.
