Namdapha National Park, Khonsa Overview
One of the tourist destinations to visit near Khonsa is Namdapha National Park which is around 166 km away. This is the only park in the world that has four of the great cats inhabiting - snow leopard, tiger, leopard and the clouded leopard.
It was declared as a National park in 1983 under the wildlife (Protection) act. It is located in the Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh on the India Burmese border a few km from the entry point. Its awesome range of altitudes that vary from 200 meters to 4500 meters. The 1985.23 sq. kms of the land is rich in flora and fauna.
