Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Hanoi - Leisure Day
- On arrival at the airport in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi to Sapa - City Tour and Waterfalls
- In the early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or the meeting point (Hanoi Opera House).
- Board the bus and proceed to Sapa.
- Drive through the highway to Lao Cai City. It offers you picturesque scenery, adventure, and a peek into the rich culture and history of the local people.
- On arrival at Sapa, transfer to the hotel and check in.
- After lunch, take a short drive to the gate of Cat Cat. The open-air museum-like village has beautiful traditional houses, rice terraces, handicraft shops, and hiking trails.
- Go trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall - Hydraulic Power Station.
- Stop for a photo with the bridge and waterfall.
- Walk uphill for the bus to pick up and return to Sapa in the afternoon.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Sapa.
Day 3 Sapa to Hanoi - Hoang Lien Son Mountain and Ta Van village
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and prepare a light bag for trekking (big luggage kept in the hotel store).
- A short trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
- Afterward, proceed to Ta Van village.
- Later, a bus will pick you up at Ta Van Bridge and return to back Sapa.
- Have lunch in the hotel.
- Later, relax and spend the time at leisure.
- Afterward, proceed to Hanoi by bus.
- You will be dropped at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 4 Hanoi to Halong - Halong Bay Cruise
- After breakfast, drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
- Arrive in Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf.
- Transfer to Halong Cruise by tender.
- Have a welcome drink on the boat and enter your private cabin.
- Have lunch on board while cruising through Halong Bay.
- Visit Ti Top Island, where you can swim, sunbathe, or trek.
- Later, visit Pearl Farm Village.
- Visit around, swim, or kayak in the bay.
- Return to the cruise.
- Join a cooking class to experience some traditional dishes.
- Tea time on sundeck.
- Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise in Halong Bay.
Day 5 Halong to Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang
- At 06:00 AM, practice Tai Chi on the sundeck.
- Afterward, during breakfast, cruise to explore another part of Halong Bay.
- Visit Surprise cave and explore the cave.
- Afterward, check out and take all luggage outside of your cabin.
- Cruise back to the Tourist Wharf through Halong bay.
- Have brunch
- Return to Hanoi.
- On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Da Nang.
- On arrival at Da Nang, transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Overnight stay at Da Nang.
Day 6 Tour of Ba Na Hills
- After an early breakfast, you will be picked up at 08:00 AM from the hotel.
- Proceed for the tour of Ba Na Hills.
- Take the cable car to Ba Na Hills station.
- Stop by the night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, and the old French villas.
- Continue the journey up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of the Ba Na range.
- Visit Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, and Orchid Garden.
- Experience hill climbing train and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and
- Linh Ung Pagoda.
- Walk on the Golden Bridge.
- Have lunch at the restaurant.
- In the afternoon, you can enjoy games in Fantasy Park, such as 4D—5D films, Skiver, the Death Race, and Dinosaur Park.
- Return to Da Nang city.
- Overnight stay at Da Nang.
Day 7 Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City
- After breakfast, you can go shopping in Hoi An.
- Afterward, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh.
- On arrival at Ho Chi Minh, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
- Overnight stay at Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 8 Excursion to Mekong Delta
- After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Mekong Delta.
- Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields.
- On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda,
- Take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank.
- Proceed to the Tortoise islet and have lunch in the orchard garden.
- Afterward, take a boat ride to An Khanh.
- Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan.
- Also enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.
- Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.
- Afterward, board the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Overnight stay at Ho Chi Minh.
Day 9 Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels
- After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels.
- Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
- You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.
- Afterward, enjoy tea and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).
- Return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Overnight stay at Ho Chi Minh.
Day 10 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward flight back home.
