Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly driver. We will then transfer to your hotel in Hanoi for check-in. Check-in time is after 2 PM.

Overnight in Hanoi.

  • Breakfast at your hotel: 8:00 - 8:30
  • Get picked up by our friendly guide and start exploring Hanoi City
  • 08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century.
  • 09:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you have the chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Then, walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969.
  • Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, which worships the Goddess of Mercy. It is the most unique pagoda in the world.
  • Important Notes:
    • Please dress modestly by covering your shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, temples, and pagodas.
    • Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
    • Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed for at least two months (June 15 - August 15) for annual maintenance, but you can still take pictures of the mausoleum and visit the surrounding area.
  • 11:15: Visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups living throughout Vietnam.
  • Special Note: We will visit the Women's Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum, which is closed on Mondays.
  • 12:45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You will have the opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with eight delicious dishes.
  • 14:00 - 14:15: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century.
  • 15:15: Leave for the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton."
  • 16:15 - 16:30: Tour finishes. Return to the hotel.
  • In the evening, a guide will pick you up and transfer you to Le Duan Train Station, located near your hotel, at around 21:00 for check-in for the night train to Sapa.
  • Overnight on the train (Shared Cabin, 4 Berths/Cabin).
  • Upon arrival in Sapa, you will be picked up by our driver and taken to your hotel for relaxation (check-in not included).
  • Afterward, you will start your visit to Cat Cat village, the most popular attraction in the Sapa district.
  • Cat Cat village is located at the bottom of the Muong Hoa Valley, near the stunning Cat Cat Waterfall.
  • This age-old village of the H’Mong ethnic group retains unique customs and practices that have been lost in other villages.
  • You will have free time to take pictures.
  • After your visit, you will return to your hotel in Sapa for leisure time.
  • Overnight stay in Sapa.
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Our guide and vehicle will be waiting for us for the journey back to Sapa.
  • Experience the round trip cable car to Fansipan.
  • The height of Fansipan was 3,143 meters (10,312 ft) in 1909, but it is now 3,147.3 meters (10,326 ft).
  • Fansipan is the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula, which includes Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, earning it the nickname "the Roof of Indochina."
  • Lunch will be provided once we return to the town.
  • We will then head back to Hanoi.
  • Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will check in to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
  • Between 07:25 and 08:00, get picked up by our friendly guide and depart for Ninh Binh province. Pickup time depends on your location in the Hanoi Old Quarter or at the Opera House.
  • 09:15: Take a short break for 15 to 20 minutes to relax.
  • 10:15: Visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
  • Enjoy cycling around the village to sightsee and discover the local people's way of life.
  • 12:00: Have a buffet lunch at the Ninh Binh Restaurant, designed in a five-star style, featuring many local food options such as goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetable salad. Vegetarian options are always available in the buffet lunch.
  • 13:30: Visit Trang An, which was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system that is unlike any other. During a 2-hour boat trip, you will be captivated by the beauty here.
  • 16:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
  • 18:30: Get dropped off at hotels in Hanoi.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.
  • 08:30 - After breakfast, the shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay.
  • 11:30 - Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the waiting lounge.
  • 12:00 - Embark on the cruise, enjoy welcome drinks while receiving a short briefing. Check in to your room and prepare for a delicious lunch.
  • 12:30 - Enjoy a Vietnamese and international lunch while taking in the picturesque scenery of the bay. Pass by the most beautiful areas: Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.
  • 15:00 - Continue to explore Ha Long Bay by visiting Luon Cave. This is also an ideal place for kayaking, allowing you to get up close to the timeless beauty of Ha Long Bay.
  • 16:30 - Visit Titov Island, a small limestone island with one of the best sandy beaches in Ha Long Bay. Immerse yourself in the emerald water and hike to the top for stunning panoramic views of the bay.
  • 17:30 - Return to the boat and participate in a cooking demonstration on our sundeck. Enjoy the bar’s Happy Hour (buy 01 get 01) program and watch the magnificent sunset over the bay. (Option: Massage service available. Please book directly with the Cruise Manager.)
  • 19:00 - A deluxe dinner is served. Enjoy our traditional and fusion dishes prepared by our talented chefs.
  • 21:00 - After dinner, enjoy time at our bar and spa, go squid fishing, watch a movie in your cabin, play cards or chess, or relax on the sundeck. Overnight in a quiet area of Ha Long Bay.
  • 06:15 - Experience the beauty of the bay in the morning with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, awakening all your senses and gathering vitamin sea to refresh yourself before breakfast.
  • 07:00 - Enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries for breakfast served in the restaurant.
  • 07:30 - Visit Sung Sot Cave, the largest limestone cave, originally named Grotte des Surprising. Marvel at the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years as a reward after the steep climb on Bo Hon Island. Note: Proper shoes are highly recommended when it’s wet.
  • 09:30 - Return to the cruise ship. Check out and settle your bill at the reception.
  • 10:00 - Have brunch while cruising back. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant.
  • 11:30 - Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina. You will be met by our driver and transferred back to Hanoi.
  • Upon arrival, you will meet our driver for the transfer to Noi Bai Airport.
  • Flight to Da Nang.
  • Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Da Nang for relaxation or exploration on your own.
  • Overnight in Da Nang.

  • 15:00: We will pick you up at the rendezvous and start visiting Non Nuoc Village at the foot of the Marble Mountains.
  • The village is famous for its stone sculptures and handicrafts.
  • Here, you can admire many works of art made from stone and marble by local artists.
  • You can visit some religious sites, including the first Linh Ung Pagoda in Da Nang, as well as natural caves such as Tang Chon Cave.
  • Enjoy the scenery of the mountain cluster and the sea from the River View Tower and the Ocean View Tower.
  • 17:00: After saying goodbye to the Marble Mountains and Non Nuoc Village, we will head to Hoi An Ancient Town.
  • Upon arriving in Hoi An, we will walk around the town and visit the ancient houses, ancestral temples, and the Japanese Bridge Pagoda.
  • In Hoi An, everything is preserved as it was hundreds of years ago.
  • At night, Hoi An reveals its beauty with colorful lanterns hung throughout the town and at the night market, where you can purchase various souvenirs.
  • 19:00: We will introduce you to the specialties of Hoi An at dinner.
  • 20:00 – 21:00: After the meal, we will return to your hotel in Da Nang.
