Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Hanoi - Leisure Day
  • On arrival at Hanoi, the driver will pick you up from the airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Hanoi.
  • After breakfast, proceed for a full-day city tour of Hanoi.
  • Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. It is the final resting place of Vietnam's most popular leader, Ho Chi Minh, known to his people as Uncle Ho. The leader's body is preserved in a glass case in the mausoleum. 
  • Next, visit the Literature Temple. The Temple of Literature, also known as Van Mieu, is an 11th-century Vietnamese temple dedicated to Confucius. It features picturesque pavilions, halls, and statues surrounded by scenic ponds and gardens.
  • Have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum. Built in 1995, it exhibits artifacts from the daily lives of the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups, including photographs, audiotapes, antiques, and everyday objects such as baskets and knives. 
  • Afterward, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Connected to the lakeshore by the iconic scarlet Huc Bridge, Ngoc Son Temple sits proudly on a small island in the lake.
  • Visit Ngoc Son Temple. It is also known as the Temple of the Jade Mountain and is a historic and picturesque temple.  The main temple building features intricate designs, ornate carvings, and vibrant colors, reflecting traditional Vietnamese architecture.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner.
  • Overnight stay at Hanoi.
  • After early breakfast, check out and the bus will pick you up from the hotel.
  • Proceed for an excursion to Halong Bay.
  • On arrival at Halong Bay, check in to the hotel, board the cruise, and have welcome drinks.
  • Enjoy Halong seafood on the cruise while moving to the Surprising Cave and Wooden Grotto in the middle of Halong Bay.
  • Spend hours on the cruise and visit beautiful places and islets on the sea.
  • You can walk up to and visit natural caves created millions of years ago by up-and-down earthquakes.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. The hiking to tiger's nes (Read More)t was a challenging one for us the senior citizens ( excluding my son) but gave us much satisfaction. The guide Mr. Tashi was of great help and care. Thanks one and all.
What's Not Good: The fees charged at some places we felt bit higher.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.

What's Good: Our trip to Bhutan was unexpected and was very last minutes plan, however our agent Reshma from Yolmo holiday successfully made it worth of money and time both… our guide Sonam De (Read More)na and driver Thupten were both the best I could ever tell, they are very kind and were very adjustable when we changed our itinerary the last minute. We are so satisfied with our trip and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family circle.
