Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Hanoi - Leisure Day
- On arrival at Hanoi, transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi Sightseeing City Tour
- After breakfast, at 08:00 AM you will be picked up from the hotel and proceed for a city tour of Hanoi.
- Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house.
- Also, visit Ho Chi Minh Museum.
- At 09:30 AM visit the One Pillar Pagoda.
- Afterward, explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of west lake.
- Later visit the Temple of literature.
- At 12:30 PM, have lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter.
- Afterward, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Museum of Ethnology.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 3 Transfer to Halong Bay - Overnight at the Boat
- After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and proceed to Halong by shuttle bus.
- On arrival at Halong, board a traditional junk and sail out into the bay.
- Overnight stay on board on a boat in Halong Bay.
Day 4 Transfer to Hanoi - Tai Chi Session
- In the early morning, enjoy a Tai Chi session on the sun deck.
- Visit the Surprise Cave.
- Return to the boat and have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the dock.
- Return to Hanoi.
- On the way back to Hanoi, drive through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta.
- On arrival at Hanoi, check in to the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 5 Transfer to Ho Chi Minh - Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
- In the morning, proceed to the airport to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh.
- On arrival at Ho Chi Minh, our guide and driver will take you to a local restaurant for lunch.
- Later, check in the hotel.
- In the afternoon, proceed for a city tour of Ho Chi Minh.
- Visit War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace.
- Take a short stroll to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 6 Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels - Transfer to Phnom Penh
- In the morning at 07:15 AM, proceed for an excursion to Cu Chi tunnels.
- On arrival at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh), proceed to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels.
- Afterward, test-tasting the steamed tapioca root which was the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war.
- For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunition at the nearby shooting range.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch at your own expense.
- After lunch, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Phnom Penh.
- On arrival at Phnom Penh, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 7 Phnom Penh City Sightseeing Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for a group tour of Phnom Penh.
- Your guide will start the pick-up from a few different hotels, so the pick-up time may be variable between 07:30 AM to 08:30 AM.
- Visit the Royal Palace.
- See gold and jeweled Buddha statues in the Silver Pagoda, and the Angkor Wat style Bell Tower.
- Later, visit Tuol Sleng Museum and Genocide Museum.
- Visit Tonle Sap and Mekong River Side before the tour ends.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
Day 8 Transfer to Siem Reap - Leisure Day
- After breakfast, proceed to Siem Reap by bus.
- On arrival at Siem Reap, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 9 Siem Reap Sightseeing City Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for a group tour of Phnom Penh.
- Your guide will start the pick-up from a few different hotels, so the pick-up time may be variable between 07:40 AM to 08:20 AM.
- Explore the temples of Angkor National Park.
- Pay the entrance fee on your own account at the ticket office.
- Visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom City, where there are many other Angkor monuments.
- Also, visit the Elephant Terrace.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
Day 10 Depart from Siem Reap - Tour Ends
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
