Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival - Jammu- Katra

Arrive in Jammu by train or by air.
Meet and assist upon arrival at the railway station or at the airport.
Proceed directly to Katra by car.
Arrive in Katra and check in at the hotel.

Day 2 Katra

Early morning, after breakfast, proceed for a visit to Mata Vaishnodevi for darshan.
Travel to Bhawan by foot, ponies (to be arranged directly), or by chopper.
After darshan, return to Katra by chopper or ponies.
Check in at the hotel for rest after darshan.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Katra - Pahalgam

Transfers from Katra to Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds."
Enjoy a mesmerizing drive through the scenic trails that connect Srinagar and Pahalgam.
While en route, you may have the opportunity to visit the saffron fields.
Pahalgam is one of the popular hill stations in India, and there are many reasons for its popularity.
Upon arrival at Pahalgam Valley, check in at the hotel, freshen up, and leave for sightseeing.
Explore the surrounding areas and the amazing marketplace of Pahalgam.
Enjoy nature and take a walk along the banks of the River Lidder.
Pahalgam is famous for its trekking routes and serves as the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage.
Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Pahalgam

Location: Pahalgam
Day free to explore the surroundings on your own

Day 5 Pahalgam - Gulmarg

After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers." Gulmarg is 150 km from Pahalgam at an altitude of 8,700 ft.
Gulmarg, also referred to as the Meadow of Flowers, is a famous ski resort and home to the world?s highest 18-hole golf course.
The area was prominent during the British era.
Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a cable car ride (optional - Gondola).
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Gulmarg - Srinagar

Transfers from Gulmarg to Srinagar.
In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens:
- "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure)
- "Shalimar" (Abode of All)
Drive along the lakeside on Boulevard.
On the return, visit a local handicrafts emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, and jewelry ornaments.
Also visit Shankaracharya Temple.
In the evening, enjoy a 1-hour boat ride on Dal Lake by a gondola boat called "Shikara." Experience the aquatic life of Srinagar, often referred to as the Venice of India.
Witness the scenic beauty of Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth.
While returning, visit the local crafts market to see finely carved handmade articles made from papier-mâché and walnut wood.
Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 7 Sonmarg Trip

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg.
Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9,000 feet, is also known as "The Meadow of Gold."
The area features snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.
The Sindh River meanders through the valley and is abundant with trout and mahseer.
Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, a major local attraction during the summer.
Return for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 Departure

In time transfer to Srinagar/Jammu Airport to connect with the flight/train for the onward destination.

You should be careful while booking rooms. Quantity of food in Houseboat should also be taken care. The car and the driver are good.

We group of 11-12 family with would like to thank Qurat for her professionalism and standing up in difficult situation with quick hotel change options in Pahalg (Read More)am. We planned 7 nights and 8 days plan for Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Pahalgam. On way to Pahalgam one of the kid fell sick and Qurat has helped going out of the way in getting hospitals and support at hospital arranged. Milli Travels i guess was too good to be true. First and foremost they formed our itinerary as per our convenience. We had some last minute changes due to t (Read More)he weather conditions, but still without a flinch they rescheduled The accommodation was good, at Vaishno devi and at Srinagar too Last, but not the least the team of Milli Travels was superb. In problematic times, especially when the airports were shut, they personally came over to put our fears at rest. They even went to the extent of offering cash repayable after we return home. In few days we were a family. Kashmir is beautiful, with beautiful souls.
