Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Varanasi Arrival – City Tour & Ganga Aarti

Welcome to Varanasi, we hope you have a safe and nice journey.
Pick up from Airport or Railway station.
Drive to hotel, check-in and freshen up.
City Tour includes:

Amble around the oldest city of the world.
Visit one of the most sacred Hindu temples.
Walk through the narrow lanes and explore ancient mosques.
In the evening, witness the memorable moment at River Ganges.
Experience the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashaswamedh Ghat.
The event starts at 5:00 PM.
Witness the grand ceremony conducted by young clergymen in saffron and white robes.
Ritual includes offering flowers to the river Ganga and lighting oil lamps.
Experience thousands of small oil lamps floating on the river.
Return to hotel after the ceremony.
Take your dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 2 Varanasi – Boat Ride, Sarnath & Silk Factory

Early morning, we will be taken you for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience on the edge of river Ganges.
You will see people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in river Ganges.
We will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat.
Come back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast you will proceed to Sarnath.
Sarnath is a place 20 km away from the city of Varanasi.
This is the place where Buddha preached his first sermon to his five apostles and so Buddhism began from there.
After that, emperor Ashoka created a number of Stupas and monuments to spread Buddhism.
In Sarnath, there are several animals and birds which attract visitors (especially Deer Park).
There are also some of the remaining monasteries.
Visit the beautifully polished Lion capital of Ashoka in Sarnath Museum.
You will be taken to an area of Muslims where you will get an experience of watching the process of weaving a saree. More than 10,000 machines run there.
After sightseeing, rest overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 3 Varanasi – Via Vindhyachal – Prayagraj

After breakfast drive to Vindhyachal.
Vindhyachal, located in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to the goddess Vindhyavasini.
The temple, situated on the banks of the holy river Ganga, attracts devotees seeking blessings from the revered deity.
Get ready for Vindhyachal sightseeing, visit:

Ashtabhuja Temple
Maa Kali Khoh Temple

After sightseeing drive to Sitamarhi.
After sightseeing drive to Prayagraj, upon arrival check-in and freshen up.

Day 4 Prayagraj Sightseeing – Chitrakoot

Destination: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh
Confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Sarasvati rivers

Day 5 Chitrakoot Sightseeing – Ayodhya

After breakfast, visit Chitrakoot sightseeing.
This mythologically significant town was where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana spent part of their 14 years.
It boasts revered temples like:

Bharat Milap Temple
Hanuman Dhara
Kamadgiri
Ram Ghat

After sightseeing, drive to Ayodhya.
Upon arrival, check-in and freshen up.
Take your dinner and overnight at hotel in Ayodhya.

Day 6 Ayodhya Sightseeing – Lucknow

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Ayodhya City.
Upon arrival, check-in and freshen up.
Ayodhya is situated on the banks of the Gogra River and holds immense religious significance. It is revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama, and bathing in the river is believed to absolve one of their sins.
Ayodhya, formerly known as Kosaladesa, reflects a rich historical and cultural heritage with remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Islam. Jain tradition holds that Ayodhya is the birthplace of five tirthankaras, including Adinath, the first tirthankar.

Naimisharanya is famous as a sacred forest where ancient sages performed yagyas (ritual sacrifices) for thousands of years. This holy site is celebrated for hosting the Saptarishi Sabha, a famous gathering of seven great sages.
Naimisharanya is a spiritually important destination and a symbol of profound wisdom in Indian culture.
Visit Naimisharanya - Chakra Tirth, Hanuman Garhi, and Vyas Gaddi.
After that drive to Lucknow.
Upon arrival check-in and freshen up.

Day 8 Lucknow Tour & Departure

What's Good: Overall planning was good. but execution needs further improvement. We had slight hitches here and there with respect to hotel arrangements. The conveyance arranged was fine and th (Read More)e driver was skilled and well mannered, though slightly lacking in punctuality. The tour organisers were very cordial, polite and receptive to our suggestions. One suggestion is for the tour operator to coordinate with the hotels and detail the plans before the guests arrive so that no confusion arises at the reception counter on arrival. Overall I will give a rating of 8/10

What's Good: The response time and patience from Abhijit and his team are highly commendable. He never fail to assure me of the arrangement and decisive in his proposed itinerary. More importa (Read More)ntly, he kept to his promises. Understanding my concerns about hotel cleanliness and safety, he has selected the hotels which are truly value for money.
