Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive at Kathmandu
- On arrival at Kathmandu International airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel.
- Check-in to the hotel. Freshen up and proceed on a full day city tour of Kathmandu.
- Later, visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, a World Heritage site located in front of the old royal palace, and learn about the former Kathmandu Kingdom from professional guide.
- Next, head on to see the Tibetan Buddhist stupa of Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath Temple.
- Finish the day at the Boudhanath stupa and later head to the largest Kathmandu Valley.
- Return to the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Chandragiri Excursion
- After breakfast, embark on a trip to Chandragiri.
- Opened in 2016, the Chandragiri Cable Car is the easiest way of ascending a mountain in Nepal.
- From the top you will see panoramic views of Kathmandu and the snow-capped Himalayas beyond, and the ride itself is exciting too.
- Enjoy lunch with a view at the top.
- Return to the hotel and have the evening at leisure till dinner.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 3 Transfer to Pokhara
- After breakfast, check-out and head to pokhara by private vehicle.
- Arrive at Pokhara and check-in to the hotel.
- Spend the day at leisure in the hotel till dinner.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 4 Sightseeing around Pokhara
- After breakfast, proceed for a morning excursion to Sarangkot, a 25-30 minutes car ride from Pokhara and 45-60 minutes hike to the main view point.
- Then return to Pokhara.
- Later in the afternoon, head to the sightseeing of Pokhara town.
- There you will visit the Davis Falls - the water forms an underground tunnel after reaching the bottom, Bindhya Basini Temple – an oldest Hindu temple in the Pokhara Valley, Mahendra Pool Bridge - the main marketplace of Pokhara.
- Later, enjoy boating on Phewa Lake.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 5 Transfer to Chitwan National Park
- After breakfast, check-out and depart for Chitwan.
- Arrive at Chitwan National Park and check-in a jungle lodge.
- The park offers interesting sights and activities you are free to explore.
- Rest of the day at leisure in your lodge and enjoy the sounds of the various birds
- Dinner and overnight stay in Chitwan.
Day 6 Chitwan Safari
- After breakfast, proceed to on an elephant-back safari to get a closer view of the endangered one-horned rhino.
- One may also get a glimpse of the Bengal tiger.
- There is also an elephant breeding centre which gives information on the baby elephants born there.
- Also, see the grasslands and waterholes in the park.
- Besides all this the park also offers – half/full day of private jungle treks, jeep jungle tours, river boating and canoeing in the Rapti river.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Chitwan.
Day 7 Back to Kathmandu
- After breakfast, check-out and transfer back to Kathmandu.
- Arrive at Kathmandu and directly visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet.
- Trip to Langtang National Park
- Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 8 Departure
- After breakfast, check-out of the hotel.
- You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your onward destination.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources.
The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel.
Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good.
They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room.
At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves.
We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere.
Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.

I had an amazing experience with Holyland Adventure Tours and Travels during my (Read More)7 days / 6 nights trip to Nepal. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish.
The itinerary covered beautiful places including Kathmandu temples, Chandragiri Hill, Bhaktapur, Nagarkot (sunrise & sunset), Pokhara, and adventure activities like paragliding and ziplining, along with the Sarangkot sunrise. Every destination was well planned and executed smoothly.
Hotels, transportation, and overall arrangements were excellent. A special thanks to Arith, the manager and tour organizer, who was extremely supportive and took care of every detail. Even after the trip ended, he personally followed up to ensure we reached safely, which truly shows their professionalism and care.
Our guide Bijay, appointed by Holyland, was outstanding—very friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and an excellent driver, especially on hill routes. He made the journey comfortable and enjoyable throughout.
Overall, the trip was stress-free, memorable, and perfectly managed. I highly recommend Holyland Adventure Tours and Travels to anyone planning to visit Nepal. Truly a trustworthy and professional travel company!
