Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival

Transfer from Paro airport after arrival to Thimphu.
After check-in to the hotel, proceed for a tour of Thimphu.
Visit sites such as the Memorial Chorten, Kuensel Phodrang, Takin Reserve and Mini Zoo, and BBS Tower.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2 Exploring Thimpu

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu.
Visit spots such as the Royal Textile Academy and Museum, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), and Trashichhodzong.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Off To Punakha

After breakfast, proceed toward Punakha.
En-route visit the Dochu La, Chimi Lakhang, and Punakha Dzong.

Day 4 Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten

After breakfast, continues for local sightseeing of Punakha.

Day 5 Departure

Ms.Priyanka of A.V.Travels was in constant touch with us for all our needs. The (Read More) cab provided was very good and our driver and guide were excellent and well behaved. Food provided at all our stays too was good.

I missed completing my Tigers nest trek since I was not aware of the time that w (Read More)ould take to come back from Paro...it was mentioned that it will be a 10 hour drive but I was unsure of catching the flight after travelling so long. This aspect should be highlighted to travellers so that we can plan another day of stay.
