Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Hobart
  • Arrive in Hobart and take a tour of historic Hobart docks and Salamanca Place.
  • Explore the Salamanca market for shopping of local goods, crafts, jewellery, cider and others. 
  • Stop for lunch and then head back to the the accommadation in Hobart. 
  • Evening is at leisure.
  • After breakfast, depart for Huon Valley and Fraklin
  • In Fraklin you will visit the wooden boat center to learn about the process of building boats.
  • Stop for a while at Geeveston town to explore the wilderness of this town.
  • Last stop is at Huon Valley to visit apple orchards with sampling of few ciders and learning about the history of local apple farming.
  • Head back to Hobart and enjoy dinner at one of the pubs.
  • Overnight at Hobart
  • After breakfast board a ferry to Marina Island.
  • The entire island is a national park.
  • Explore Darlington township, walk to the Fossil Cliffs or Painted Cliffs, and relax and enjoy your lunch by the waterside.
  • You will also get to see wallabies, possums, wombats, kangaroos, and even Tasmanian devils.
  • In the evening enjoy local scallops and oysters or Cape Grim Scotch fillet.
  • After breakfast, go on a wine tasting tour at a winery run by the locals.
  • Next head to visit a vineyard, Tassie's -one of the oldest in that region.
  • Have lunch along with finest wines of Tassie's barn.
  • Visit the Freycinet National Park. In the visit to the park you can visit Wingless Bay lookout for the mesmerising views of the Wingless Bay or relax at the beach of the Wingless Bay beach.
  • You have time to go for a swim, eat lunch or relax at the beach.
  • Your afternoon ois free with accommodation at a lodge in Freycinet.
  • You can also the Cape Tourville lighthouse to enjoy stunning views of the Tasman Sea, Hazards Mountains and Wineglass Bay.(optional)
  • BBQ dinner at the lodge. 
  • After breakfast head out to explore the towns of St. Helens and Bicheno.
  • Head to the Bays of fire - famous for its white sandy beaches, clean waters and orange granite boulders.
  • Explore the Big Lagoon
  • Next stop is at Pyengana Dairy Farm Gate to learn and see the process of cheese making. tour the property and later enjoy the gourmet lunch platter.
  • Continue towards Launceston. Stop at Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees on the way. The 25 trees are a memorial for soldiers who lost their lives in WWI.
  • On arriving in Launceston head to a hub known for its delicious wines and food.
  • Check- in to your hotel and the night at leisure.
  • Visit Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company, 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm, and Western Tiers Distillery.
  • Rest of the day is for leisure or shopping.
  • A 3 course farewell dinner in the evening with drinks and delicious food. 
  • Overnight in Launceston
  • After a relaxed breakfast check out of the hotel and head to airport to catch your flight.

What's Good: Overall it was an average trip..Communication was very good with the agent. Hotel and staff were very helpful and service was quick.
What's Not Good: As this was an inter (Read More)national trip so i was expecting It should have been more planned...it was not upto the mark..i had 1 full day free but nothing was planned..so that was overlooked was by me...hotel check in was late..It should have been at 3pm but got at 7.30pm ..At singapore also they too us for the same location 2 continue days in sentosa island..
