Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP – Transfer to Phuentsholing
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic drive and check into your hotel upon arrival.
After completing the immigration formalities, proceed towards Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The journey offers breathtaking views of lush valleys and winding roads. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local markets or enjoying Bhutanese cuisine.
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit the Buddha Dordenma, a giant golden Buddha statue overlooking the valley, and the National Memorial Chorten, a landmark dedicated to Bhutan’s third king. Explore Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government, and the Folk Heritage Museum for insights into traditional Bhutanese life. In the evening, stroll through the handicraft markets before returning to your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Paro with an en-route visit to Punakha, known for its beautiful Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. Stop at the Dochula Pass to witness stunning views of the Himalayas. Continue your journey to Paro and check into your hotel upon arrival.
In the morning, visit the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliffside, offering spectacular views. Later, drive back to Phuentsholing, where you can relax for the evening or explore the local markets.
After breakfast, proceed for your return journey to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Enjoy the scenic drive back as you bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes of Bhutan.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
