Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Itanagar
  • On arrival at the airport, meet the representative who will escort you to your hotel.
  • After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Ganga Lake, Ita Fort, Namdapha National Park, Rupa and Gompa Buddhist Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Itanagar.
  • After breakfast, drive to Ziro.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • Visit Tarin Fish Farm - Paddy cultivation, Kile Pakho, Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and Meghna Cave Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Ziro.
  • After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour. 
  • Visit Hong village and other ethnic villages of Ziro.
  • Visit Salin peak, five small rivulets and Handicraft Centre.
  • The evening is free.
  • Overnight at Ziro.
  • After breakfast, leave for Daporijo.
  • Enroute visit Tagin villages. 
  • Upon arrival in Daporijo, continue to Likabali road. It is known for Galo and Tagin ethnic peoples.
  • Check-in to the hotel.

  • After early breakfast, continue to Aalo. 
  • It is a 6-hour drive with a stop for lunch in between. 
  • Upon arrival in Aalo, check in at your hotel.

  • After breakfast, proceed for a day full of activities and sightseeing. 
  • Explore Adi villages.
  • Kane Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Visit the Hanging Bridge on River Siang. Choose between rafting or trekking here. 
  • Overnight at Aalo
  • After early breakfast, leave for Pasighat. 
  • Enroute, enjoy the confluence of two water bodies- Great Siang & Siyom.
  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. 
  • Visit Pangin Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • Visit Minnyiong villages
  • Overnight in Pasighat.
  • After early morning breakfast, leave for Dibrugarh.
  •  Transfer to Dibrugarh will be by a country boat which takes 5-6 hours. 
  • Dibrugarh is known as the tea city of India. 
  • Upon arrival, check in to one of the hotels near the tea gardens 
  • Visit a Tea Factory and take a tour of the tea gardens and try tasting the teas. 
  • Overnight at Dibrugarh.
  • After breakfast, leave for the nearest airport/station to continue your journey home.

What's Good: The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and support of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.
What's Not Good: The accommodat (Read More)ion in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hotels with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.

What's Good: Rumi from Indiroots travel designed the perfect travel iteniary for us. Good thing was she listened all our requirements very carefully and worked towards fulfilling them as much a (Read More)s possible. The transportation provided was also very good and the driver was very friendly as well. Another important thing is the flexibility that you get with Indiroots... Even though they provide an iteniary but the same can be customised as per your liking and interests as well. So all in all it was very nice experience with Indiroots and would like to plan my future trips with Indiroots.
