Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Colombo & Tranfer to Kandy (enroute Pinnawala)

Meet and Greet at the Airport
Proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala
En route, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, home to approx 60 elephants. Watch the baby elephants play and bathe in the river; watch them being fed, or feed them yourself.

Day 2 Kandy Sightseeing

Peradeniya Botnical Garden
Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, are about 5.5 km west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River (the longest in Sri Lanka). Agriculture.
Temple of Tooth in Kandy
Sri Dalada Maligawa, or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

Day 3 Transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (enroute Ramboda Falls & Tea Factory visit)

Breakfast at Hotel
Journey up through the hills, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), pine and eucalyptus forests and vast green tea estates. Many optional photo stops en route.
Visit a tea factory, where you will not only enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea but will also have the opportunity to witness the intricacies involved in its manufacturing process.
By late afternoon, reach Nuwara Eliya, the “city above the clouds” at 1980m above sea level. A golf course, race course for horse racing, English country-style cottages and planters bungalows are all witnesses of its colonial past.

Day 4 Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Bentota - Kithulgala White Water Rafting (Optional)

Victoria National Park Nuwara Eliya. Named after Queen Victoria’s 60th jubilee coronation and established in 1897, it has a land mass of 27 acres. This is a place where most people, especially holidaymakers never fail to visit and enjoy the beautifully laid out gardens with the colourful flora and fauna which are maintained beautifully by the municipality
Gregary Lake Nuwara Eliya
Haggala Botanical Garden
Kithulgala White Water Rafting (Optional). Kitulagala is a town located in West of the road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. It's a town located amid tickly forest hills. It has been once a filming place for David Lean's 1957 Oscar-winning epic "Bridge on the River Kwai" on the banks of Kelani River. Most visitors that do the adventure sporting are from Colombo. The Kitulgala's main attraction is White water rafting, where you can ride the tides of the Kelani River. Other than that, it's popular for sports like confidence jump, Stream Sliding, Waterfall abseiling, and Jungle trekking. Bird watching and cave exploration and last but not least, river trips and expeditions

Day 5 Bentota Water Sports & Madu River Boat Safari - Transfer from Bentota to Colombo

Madu Ganga river. River Safari is a must whenever you camp nearby a river. When you camp nearby the Madu Ganga in Balapitiya, boat riding gives you a unique experience due to its richness of activities to do.

Day 6 Colombo to Airport

Breakfast at the Hotel
City tour of Colombo commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst the oldest colonial hotel GOH. It has a fantastic view of the Colombo harbour, a lighthouse with a clock tower (older than Big Ben in London) close to the president’s house and old parliament.
Afterwards, proceed through the main street, passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry and old City Hall, which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka.
A stop will be made at the Old Dutch hospital, with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old race course with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture.
Shopping in Colombo.
Thereafter Proceed to the airport with lingering memories of your trip to Sri Lanka.

Vikky Sir, has assisted us during our visit for a week, our itinerary was well planned and selections of the place and interest to visit was very encouraging. Vikky worked as a true gem for complete travel duration took us to all the main points of interest we wanted to visit during our stay, He is very trustworthy and professional in his work. He look after to our travel requirement and make sure we complete them as well. Another plus for his side is the punctuality, he was always their waiting for us in the morning at designated time to make sure we do not miss our day plan in a rush but with ease and enjoyment. He took us to the Tea Factory, and the experience was truly amazing visiting the tea factory and tea gardens really was one of the agenda in our tour and this was possible with Vikky’s guidance. The Guide cum driver Premarathna was very warm and friendly. Well maintained car (Read More). We didnt have to hurry through anywhere and remained relaxed throughout. Since we had insisted upon vegetarian food, the hotels did manage their best to provide us something palatable to us throughout. The morning breakfast tea at Bentota was the best ever we had in Sri Lanka

The Accommodation at Kandy was a huge letdown. A 20 year old building which was (Read More) under renovation and the room had lizards moving around ! The courteouness of the staff was the saving grace there. The Bentota resort though good had a lizard too in the room when we entered. fortunately the housekeeping staff removed it.

We are glad we chose Aziz Travels. This being our 1st international trip with ki (Read More)ds we had our doubts and fear. But Shali made sure he clarified all our doubts even before we left from India. In fact we paid our money to Aziz Travels only after landing in Sri Lanka. We were greeted warmly by his manager Mohamed at the airport followed by his driver Prem anna. He was the best. 5 days with his driving made us feel safe..being in a new country and high altitude roads with on n off rains..his car was jus gliding thru..and we felt safe. He made sure we covered all places in the itemary..in fact showed some places out of itenary too. Overall very happy with Aziz travels. Shali, I think you should start penetrating into other countries too.

Aziz Travel should visit/verify accommodation that they recommend, some of them (Read More) are not good , the rooms are bad . The facilities are not satisfactory

Hotel in kandy,yala were not good . The trip could be more unidirectional and go (Read More)ing criss cross could be avoided , it will bring down cost too
