Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong

Arrive at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport at Guwahati.
Upon arrival, depart to Shillong (110 km from Guwahati) by road.
On the way to Shillong, visit Barapani Lake.
Upon arrival in Shillong, check-in at the hotel.
Sightseeing at Ward Lake.
In the evening stroll around the lake.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 Excursion to Cherrapunjee - Spot Waterfalls, Caves and More

After breakfast leave for a trip to Cherrapunjee (highest rainfall area in the world).
Visit many scenic spots, waterfalls, and a cave on the way to Cherrapunjee.
Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Transfer to Kaziranga - Leisure Day

After Breakfast, leave Shillong for Kaziranga.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 4 Enjoy an Elephant Safari - Transfer to Guwahati

In the early morning proceed for elephant safari.
You will be taken for an elephant ride into the jungle to watch animals especially the one horn rhinos.
After breakfast, you will be leaving for Guwahati.
Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Note: Your trip to Kaziranga National Park is subject to weather conditions as there could be monsoon seasons starting around the time.

Day 5 Depart from Guwahati

Transfer to Guwahati railway station/airport for your onward journey.

We are totally satisfied with our trip. All the hotels provided by the agency had good rooms and very kind staffs. We had the liberty to choose from options given by them for those hotels. Rumi also provided us with numbers of two Pandas who helped us give pujo in Kamakhya temple in a smooth way. Altogether we really enjoyed our vacation, and would definitely recommend Inderoots Travel to everyone.

In Tawang, we were not provided with the same room that was shown to us while bo (Read More)oking in the hotel JD house. Although after much talking and communication to clear it out, they cooperated and provided us with that room. They tried their best to suit our needs.

The accommodation at Cherrapunji is excellent ?, particularly the behavior and s (Read More)upport of the staff and owner, which is truly appreciable.

The accommodation in Dawki was substandard. We strongly suggest prioritizing hot (Read More)els with AC, as it is very hot there during this period. Also behavior of the Manager and staff are not good.
