Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Kochi to Munnar

Pick-up from Kochi Airport/Railway Station and drive to Munnar.
Enjoy scenic waterfalls & tea plantations en route:
- Cheeyappara Waterfalls
- Valara Waterfalls
- Spice Plantations Visit and Tea Meadows
Arrive in Munnar, check in at the hotel.
Evening at leisure – explore the town or visit a tea café.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, full-day Munnar tour covering:
- Eravikulam National Park – Spot Nilgiri Tahr (subject to availability).
- Mattupetty Dam – Enjoy speed boating.
- Echo Point & Kundala Lake – Experience the natural beauty.
- Tea Museum & Factory – Learn about the tea-making process.
- Pothamedu Viewpoint – Perfect for sunset views.
Return to the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady.
Check-in at the hotel and refresh.
Explore:
- Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Boat safari on Periyar Lake (optional).
- Spice Plantation Tour – Learn about Kerala's famous spices.
- Kadathanadan Kalari Centre – Enjoy a live Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show (optional).

Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4 Thekkady – Alleppey (140 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the Venice of the East.
Check-in at a houseboat and cruise through the backwaters (Private / Shared).
Enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch on board.
Relax while floating through paddy fields, coconut lagoons & village life.
Evening tea/snacks on the deck.
Overnight stay in a houseboat / resort in Alleppey.

Day 5 Alleppey to Varkala

After breakfast, drive to Jatayu Earth’s Center – Visit the world’s largest bird sculpture & experience the adventure park (optional).
Continue the journey to Varkala, a stunning beachside town.
Visit:
- Varkala Cliff & Beach – Breathtaking coastal views.
- Janardanaswamy Temple – Ancient Hindu pilgrimage site.
- Papanasam Beach – A spiritual & scenic retreat.
- Enjoy cafés & shopping along the cliffside.
Overnight stay in Varkala.

Day 6 Departure

After breakfast, transfer back to Kochi.
If time permits, short sightseeing in Fort Kochi:
- Chinese Fishing Nets
- St. Francis Church
- Jew Town & Mattancherry Palace
Drop-off at Kochi Airport/Railway Station for departure.

What's Not Good: Driver. We suffered too much missed important destination like Eco Point and Periyar Lake. Behavior is also not upto the (Read More) mark. Unwillingness to complete itinerary. Aftab tried his best and manage to some extent.

What's Good: Professional services
What's Not Good: Hotels in manali could have been better. Also, hotels should provide both North Indian and South Indian cuisine. Hotel in Manali (Read More)didn't even have a First Aid kit which is thought off as a must in hotels.
