Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin - Munnar
Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station. Our representative will welcome you to "God's Own Country", Kerala. Proceed to Munnar, often called "The Southern Kashmir of Kerala," located 1800 meters above sea level. En route, visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, and spice plantations. Check-in to the hotel/resort upon arrival. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast, go sightseeing—Mattupetty Dam/ Kundala Dam for boating. On the way, visit Echo Point and shooting point. Visit the Tea Museum. Visit Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Park, Adventure Park, Hydel Park, Off-Road jeep drives, and Rose Garden. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady via scenic hill highways. Thekkady is home to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the 48 Tiger Reserves in India. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a 1½-hour game-viewing cruise on Periyar Lake.
Wildlife viewing may include elephants, monkeys, deer, and wild boar. Optional activities include an elephant Safari, martial arts, and Kathakali Shows. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

The morning after breakfast, check out from Thekkady, visit Valanjanganam waterfalls, and proceed to Alleppey, “Venice of the East.” On arrival, check in to the houseboat and enjoy the spectacular ride through the lake and canals of Alleppey backwaters. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

After breakfast, check out of the houseboat and visit the Alleppey Beach lighthouse. Mullakkal Street, and proceed towards Cochin for sightseeing at Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Marine Drive, Chinese Fishing Net, and Jewish Temples. Drop off at Cochin.

We had recently gone to Kerela trip with Family for 5 Days & 4 Nights includes Munnar, Thekady, Allepey & Kochi. We had wonderful experience because it was very nicely planned trip by Mr. George ( Wel (Read More)green Kerela Holidays), each & every thing which he has committed had delivered. Each and every thing like Hotels, Allepey House boat and specially our Cab Driver Mr. Santosh who is with us for 5 days is a very nice & knowledgeable person and also knows a very good Hindi. Every part of travel good. The approach road to hotel Vagamon Vagashore at Vagamon and room service at Thekkady hotel named Kumly gate were poor .

On our arrival at kochi airport ,the cab driver as already there and it was Toyota etios which is well maintained and driver is bilingual so we don't get any problem in dealing with our tour, We wen (Read More)t to munnar watching beautiful views of water falls and natural greenery of the mountains. After reaching at the munnar the hotel Monsoon grand was located at the mountain and surrounded by tea , evening view was beautiful rooms were neat and clean, staff was good, food was outstanding There After we went to thekkady hotel crown valley which was one plus than the previous property , you can enjoy spa , elephant ride and some traditional kerala dance and martial art there, Herr also food was great and worth visiting place again. Thereafter we went to alleppey that is situated at the bank of vembanad lake, here also scenic views are beautiful and natural we stepped in to astonishing houseboat that is also very good and we'll maintained , you can enjoy some rides there in speed boats. The food was again great and tasty. The memories I captured on camera is nothing than what I captured in my eyes and hearts...that stays forever with me.

Driver was very helpful and honest. In the house boat at Alleppey,we didn't get hot water for taking bath. During our trip, nobody from the travel agency made a phone call to ascertain if everything (Read More) is going smoothly.
