Day 3 Trek from Kikilewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp

Enjoy scenic views during the trek.

Day 4 Trek from Mawenzi Tarn Camp to School Hut Camp

Today's trek involves ascending to School Hut Camp, situated at an altitude of 4,715 meters.
The landscape will change noticeably, transitioning into a rocky semi-desert terrain.
The ascent itself isn't overly challenging, but it's important to maintain a steady pace to conserve energy for the summit climb.
Upon reaching School Hut Camp, you'll have lunch and a well-deserved rest.
Duration of today's trek is approximately 5-6 hours.
Remember, you'll be heading to Uhuru Peak the following night, so proper rest and acclimatization are crucial.

Day 5 Summit Day - Trek to Uhuru Peak & Descent to Horombo Camp

Start early before sunrise from School Hut Camp to reach the summit, Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).

Descend to Kibo Camp for rest and lunch.
