Day 1 Arrival at Colombo - Transfer to Kandy
  • Arrive by Airport representative will assist you to the car, Proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala elephant orphanage. 
  • Later, off to Kandy and check in to the hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Kandy.
  • Visit Royal Botanical Gardens and visit a Spice Garden and Orchid House that are popular with tourists. 
  • Visit Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere like visiting the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
  • In the evening witness, the Kandy Cultural Dance Performance.
  • Overnight stay at a Kandy hotel.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
  • Visit a tea factory plantation on the way.
  • All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann-style mansions.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Also, visit the BMICH, and see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.

We were a family of 5 including one toddler and 2 senior citizens.Chamil, our travel agent, was very polite and professional throughout the trip. He was diligent in taking all reviews everyday. Kumara (Read More), our driver never felt like a third person. Went above and beyond to ensure we had the best of experiences. Provided many valuable insights. Would highly recommend Chamil and Kumara if anyone planning trip to Sri Lanka. Indeed a pleasant experience with Global Island tour operators.

Our chauffeur Mr. Thusitha was wonderful as well. We would recommend My Ceylon Trip and Mr. Roshana's experience in organizing such splendid vacations. Mr Abdul helped and guided us for my itinary. He made very good arrangement for car and best driver. He asked whether we are comfortable or not throughout the trip. Driver provided to us was very nice (Read More) and cooperative. He took care of all the needs given that old parents were with me. I had great trip and we enjoyed a lot. The trip was meticulously planned and modified progressively with the person-in-charge, who has provided great service. The trip turned out well. I was surprised that I had to bear the cost of the mea (Read More)ls for the driver, which to my knowledge, should not be my responsibility.
