Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Madurai
- Arrive at the airport,
- On arrival at Madurai, check in to the hotel.
- Later, proceed sightseeing.
- Visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparankundram, and Gandhi Museum.
- Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 2 Madurai to Kodaikanal
- After early breakfast, leave for Kodaikanal.
- Visit Kodaikanal Lake and go boating.
- Later visit the Guna cave, pine forest, and Bryant park.
- Visit Kurinji Andavar Temple.
- Overnight stay at a hotel in Kodaikanal.
Day 3 Trek in Kodaikanal & Transfer to Madurai
- Early morning go for a walk on Coaker’s Walk. Watch a mesmerizing sunrise and a glimpse of the valley.
- Come back to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed for a hike.
- Today you can choose between a 1 km Trek to Dolphin's nose(not recommended for people not physically fit) or drive through the scenic route to Berijam Lake.
- Early evening head back to Madurai for an overnight stay.
Day 4 Madurai to Rameswaram
- After breakfast, proceed to Rameshwaram.
- On arrival at Rameswaram, check in to the hotel.
- Later, proceed sightseeing.
- Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi (jeep cost extra), Former President Shri. Dr. Abdul Kalam’s House, and Pamban Bridge.
- Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
Day 5 Rameswaram to Kanyakumari
- After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
- On arrival in Kanyakumari, check in to the hotel.
- Later, proceed sightseeing.
- Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Bharat Mata Temple, Kanyakumari Beach, and Sunset View Point.
- Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 6 Kanyakumari to Kovalam
- After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam.
- On arrival in Kovalam, check in to the hotel.
- In the evening, relax at the Kovalam beach.
- Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 7 Relax at the Beaches. Trip to Thiruvananthapuram
- After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.
- Visit the Secretariat, Museum, Mini Zoo, and the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple (optional).
- After lunch, head back to Kovalam.
- In the evening, visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach.
- Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 8 Departure
- In the morning, check out from the hotel.
- Proceed to Trivandrum airport/train station for onward destination.

Boat riding at kovalam was nice. The visit was amazing. The hotels were good. I (Read More)think the new Delhi arrangement was good but only the local agent was very disappointing.
There were iternary booked on Monday but that places are closed on Mondays. Unab (Read More)le to go to periyar sanctuary park bcoz ticket were sold out 1 month back but it was in the iternary. Kanyakumari ticket had a 4 hours queue but we don't know we can book one day earlier on online. Jadayu cable car broke down. All this happen for to miscommunication and lack of information. The tempo traveller broke down for 4 hours on the was to thekaddy and all the program were delayed. The TT driver attitude was terrible, can't speak to him as he shouts for everything. Not helpful at all, drop us far away and make us walk. Need improve in all this area. Local agent didn't look into details.

Communication with the Aswamedham team was good and professional. Taxi driver Mr (Read More). JOJO was also helpful and professional. Sightseeing in Munnar and Alleppey was very beautiful.
Accommodation in Kovalam was not so good.
