Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong
- Arrive at Guwahati airport/station and transfer to Shillong.
- Visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake that lies en route.
- On arrival at Shillong, check in to your hotel and settle in.
- Evening free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 2 Excursion to Cherrapunji - Visit Waterfalls and Cave

- Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong.
- After an early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places in the world.
- Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park.
- Evening return to Shillong.
- Visit Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak for some breathtaking views.

Day 3 Shillong Sightseeing Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for Sightseeing.
- Visit Elephant Falls Shillong Golf Course and then go for a David Scott Trail.
- In the evening, visit Lewduh Market.
- Overnight at Shillong.
Day 4 Transfer to Bhalukpong - Tour of Tipi
- After breakfast, leave for Bhalukpong
- On reaching Bhalupkung, check in at your hotel.
- Visit the Bhalukpong Fort
- Take a tour of Tipi today. View more than 50000 varieties of orchids.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Transfer to Dirang - Visit Sangti Valley
- After early breakfast, leave for Dirang.
- On the way to Dirang, visit the orchand research centre, which is amidst thousands of orchids and the tribal village of Sherdukpen.
- Check in to the hotel at arrival and later proceed for sightseeing.
- Visit Sangti valley, Mandala Top and Thupsung Dhargye Ling.
- The evening is free
- Overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 6 Transfer to Tawang - Hot Springs and Sela Pass
- After breakfast, leave for Tawang.
- En-route visit the famous hot springs of Dirang.
- On the way stop at Sela Pass and Jaswantgarh Museum. Proceed to drive to Tawang
- On arrival check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.
Day 7 Excursion to Bum La Pass
- After a delicious breakfast, head for an excursion to Bumla La Pass.
- Today explore the Madhuri Lake, known initially as Sangestar Tso Lak.
- Spend the day exploring the lake and to witness the history of the Indian War that took place at Bumla La in 1962.
- In the evening head back to Tawang for a night stay.
Day 8 Transfer to Bomdila - Explore Local Markets
- After breakfast, head out for Bomdila.
- Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
- Later visit Lower Gompa and Emporium Local Market.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9 Transfer to Kaziranga - Leisure Day
- After breakfast, leave for Kaziranga.
- Check in to your room.
- Evening free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 10 Explore Kaziranga National Park and Enjoy Safari
- Explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant early morning.
- Enjoy the thrilling experience of watching the wildlife.
- Return to the resort and have breakfast.

- Overnight stay at the hotel in the resort.
Day 11 Transfer to Guwahati - River Cruise and City Tour
- Meal: Breakfast
- After Breakfast, transfer to Guwahati.
- Check in to your hotel.
- Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmaputra.
- You may also visit the local market.
- Assam is famous for Assam Silk, particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products.
- Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 12 Depart from Guwahati
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- With everlasting memories, transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for an onward journey.

The trip was well planned by Sizra, she understood our requirements and curated (Read More)finest itinerary. She stays were thoughtfully picked. The weather complimented all the planned activities throughout the journey.
Few places were closed (like Shillong peak, Guwahati Museum, etc) and that could (Read More) have been informed prior to our journey start, since we understood the closure after reaching the points.

First of all, thank you so much for the wonderful holiday planning (Read More). It was truly an amazing experience for us. This was our first trip to the North East, and it has now become one of our most memorable and favorite tourist destinations — all because of you and the Hills Dekho team.
I would especially like to highlight the driver you arranged for us, *Dipu*. He was absolutely exceptional — extremely polite, professional, and caring throughout the journey. More than a driver, he felt like a family member traveling with us. His driving skills were excellent, and we always felt safe and comfortable on the hilly roads. By the end of the trip, it genuinely felt like we had made a new friend in the North East.
The hotels arranged were also fabulous, and everything overall was perfectly managed — truly worth it.
