Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Gangtok - Cable Car Ropeway Ride

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport(IXB)/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus(Junction), transfer to Gangtok.
On arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel.
First enjoy a cable car ropeway ride which gives panoramic views of the city.
Later head for cycling on the Silk Route.
The evening is free to explore the markets.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Transfer to Lachen via Chungthang - Visit Handicraft Centre

After breakfast, proceed to Lachen via Chungthang.
On arrival in Lachen, check in to the hotel.
Visit Handicraft Centre and The Angora Rabbit Farm for shopping and admire the unique handicrafts.
In the evening, take a stroll and visit the Lepcha Village.
Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 3: Transfer to Lachung - Visit Gurudongmar Lake

After breakfast, visit Gurudongmar Lake (optional tour Rs. 3500 - 4000 /extra).
Next drive through the cold desert till Tibet/China.
Return to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, drive to Lachung.
On arrival in Lachung, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4: Depart from Lachung

After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) for your onward journey back home.
