Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Ho Chi Minh - Welcome Dinner
  • Arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you will be greeted by our guide and driver at the airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Enjoy welcome dinner at a nice local restaurant.
  • Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City
  • After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels.
  • Return back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, the Municipal Theater, Quan Am Pagoda, Cho Lon, and China town.
  • Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh city.
  • After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure.
  • Later, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Hanoi.
  • On arrival at Hanoi, check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing in Hanoi.
  • Visit Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam.
  • Visit the One Pillar Pagoda.
  • Also visit the Mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh.
  • Later, visit West Lake and the sixth-century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda.
  • Visit the Taoist temple of Quan Thanh dedicated to Tran Vu.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.
  • After an early breakfast, proceed to Halong Bay.
  • Around 12:00 PM arrive at your jetty in Halong City and check-in.
  • Afterward, have lunch while cruising towards the bay itself.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board.
  • At the end of the day, the boat will be anchored for the night among the karst formations.
  • Have dinner on board.
  • Overnight on the boat on Halong Bay.
  • After breakfast (brunch on some boats),  cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port.
  • On arrival at the port, transfer to the airport board the flight back home.

What's Good: I loved my short time in Bhutan. The hotels were Very nice and clean. Since I wanted to save money, I asked for only 3-star hotels, the hotel I was placed in were all very very (Read More) clean and included a breakfast buffet and dinner. We also stayed at a home stay out in the countryside with a beautiful valley-view and a wonderful host. The homestay allows one to have a more authentic experience staying and interacting with local Bhutanese people. We loved experiencing the delicious Bhutanese food and culture and will not hesitate to come again in the future. I was just not aware how much was included in our tour. We had guides taking us personally everywhere we went. And even dinner was included in our package! You can confidently utilize this company. They strive to go above and beyond your expectations.
What's Not Good: I could have been fine without including the dinner in our package and seeking out my own dinners outside. Had I mention Ed that to Asia Valley, I am sure they would have accommodated my request.

Their service was incredibly timely and professional, making th (Read More)e entire journey smooth and stress-free. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights throughout the trip. Our driver was very skilled and courteous, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. The hotels they arranged were top-notch, offering excellent comfort and hospitality. Overall, Hitansh Wanderlust truly made our trip memorable with their outstanding service. Highly recommended!
What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
