Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Paro Airport – Thimphu
- Meet and greet on arrival at Paro Airport.
- Transfer to Thimphu, covering a distance of 55 km in approximately 1½ hours.
- Check-in at the hotel in Thimphu upon arrival.
- Relax at the hotel or take a leisure walk around Thimphu City in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing
- Visit Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma), home to the largest statue of Buddha in Bhutan, offering panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley.
- Explore the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King, known as the "Father of Modern Bhutan."
- Discover Bhutanese culture and traditions at the Folk Heritage Museum.
- Enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Thimphu Valley from Sangaygang Viewpoint.
- Visit the Takin Preserve Centre, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin.
- See murals and seek blessings for children at Changangkha Lhakhang, a historic Buddhist temple.
- Explore Tashichho Dzong, an iconic fortress first built in 1216, now housing the National Government and the Chief Abbot’s summer residence.
- Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu - Paro Sightseeing
- Transfer to Paro, covering a distance of 55 km in approximately 1½ hours.
- Visit Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple built by the Iron Bridge Builder, Thangthong Gyalpo.
- Cross a traditional iron suspension bridge to reach the temple, perched on a hilltop.
- Check-in at the hotel in Paro upon arrival.
- Explore Ta Dzong (National Museum), which houses an excellent collection of arts, relics, and religious thangkhas.
- Visit Rinpung Dzong, also known as the "Fortress of the Heap of Jewels," which serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro.
- Take a leisurely stroll around Paro Town and valley in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 4 Paro Sightseeing
- Embark on a 2-hour hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), a sacred monastery perched on a cliffside with breathtaking views.
- Visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress with panoramic mountain views.
- Explore Kyichu Monastery, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered temples.
- Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5 Paro Hotel - Paro Airport
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out and transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey.

- Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) certified Star hotel, Double Deluxe rooms.
- SUV comfortable private Vehicle for the whole tour including pickup, sightseeing and drop off. However, not at the disposal.

Recently had trip for shimla and manali for 4days with Himalayan safar of jagdis (Read More)h bhai. Had Great travel experience! The accommodation was very good neat and clean also comfortable, the driver Ravi bhai was polite, friendly and professional, suggests us multiple good things throughout trip and special thanks to Jagdish bhai he’s like big brother from himachal. He was continuously taking follow-ups and guided us well throughout the trip. Everything was well organized and hassle-free. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience with Himalayan Tour Club. It was a 9D8N tour comprisin (Read More)g Shimla-Manali-Dharmshala-Dalhousie. We were provided with a car that remained with us in the entire tour fro/to delhi with the same driver. Driver was very polite, humble and friendly. One Luv Bhardwaj from the club kept in continous touch to know about how the tour was going on. Hotels and the food served were quite good. It was a happy and memorable tour❤️.
