Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Attend a Cultural Evening
- Upon arrival in Guwahati, meet a representative who will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- In the evening, visit Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra and experience a cultural evening.
- Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 2 Transfer to Shillong - En Route Visit Umiam Lake
- In the early morning after breakfast, proceed towards the capital of Meghalaya, Shillong (100 km/2 hrs).
- En-route visit Umiam Lake, one of the prominent attractions of Meghalaya.
- Optional water sports like water cycling, kayaking, scooting and boating can be availed at Umiam Lake.
- After the active excursion, proceed towards Hotel Pinewood for lunch and rest.
- In the evening, visit the Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Cultures.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 3 Excursion to Cherrapunjee - Visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove, Waterfalls and Caves
- After breakfast, depart for the tour of Cherrapunjee (54 Km/2 hr); the second wettest on earth and the rainiest in India.
- Visit the Mawphlang Sacred Grove which is bestowed with an amazing flora featuring plants, flowering trees, orchids, butterflies and is an ideal eco-tourism destination.
- Continue the day’s mesmerizing excursion with a visit to Cherrapunjee waterfalls and caves etc.
- Return to Shillong.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 4 Excursion to Mawlynnong and Dawki
- Begin the morning with a drive to Mawlynnong Village (97 km/3 hrs.) to see Living Root Bridge, one of the iconic attractions of Meghalaya.
- Walk on the suspended natural-grown bridge, it is an exciting experience in the state.
- Continue the day with a visit to Dawki (30 Km/1 hr.) known for its many adventure camps and adventure activities.
- Drive from Dawki to Shillong (82 Km/1.5 hrs.).
- Overnight in Shillong.
Day 5 Depart for Guwahati
- Check out from the hotel in Shillong.
- Drive to Guwahati (100 Km/2 hrs.) to board the flight for onward destination.

The trip was well planned by Sizra, she understood our requirements and curated (Read More)finest itinerary. She stays were thoughtfully picked. The weather complimented all the planned activities throughout the journey.
Few places were closed (like Shillong peak, Guwahati Museum, etc) and that could (Read More) have been informed prior to our journey start, since we understood the closure after reaching the points.
