Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Nairobi
- Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be transferred to the Sarova Panafric Hotel or Ole-Sereni Hotel (you can be upgraded to five-star accommodation on request).
- The rest of the day is at leisure depending on when your flight arrives.
- An optional dinner at the carnivore restaurant.
Day 2 Nairobi. Masai Mara National Reserve
- After breakfast, you will depart from Nairobi for the Masai Mara National Reserve.
- Enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge.
- Lunch will be served on arrival, followed by an afternoon game drive through the reserve to the endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills where lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous plain animals are in abundance.
- Return for dinner at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge and relax in comfort.
Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve
- Enjoy morning game viewing with a long drive to the Mara river, where you can view hippos and crocodiles.
- After lunch at the lodge, go on an afternoon game drive, followed by a visit to a Masai manyatta or homestead to see the Masai culture.
- In the evening, enjoy a nature walk safari with a resident naturalist to experience the awakening of Africa in Masai land at sunset.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park
- After breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.
- Lake Nakuru is a soda lake, home to the greater and lesser flamingos. At times, you may see a lion crawling on the water's edge, or if you are a bird lover you will spot different bird species.
Day 5 Departure
- After breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi or Mombasa.
- For today, breakfast will be included in the price.
- Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
- Masai Mara Budget Safari Package to an end.

Reasons
1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp.
2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.
7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend

From the very beginning, Christine and Judith from Donwel Tours were highly atte (Read More)ntive to what we were looking to get from our first ever trip to Kenya, and Africa, for that matter. We wanted to cover a lot of ground, and were going from one agency to another before we found Donwel as most agents couldn't quite squeeze everything we wanted into our itinerary.
