Day 1 Arrive at Dalhousie
- Arrive at Dalhousie.
- Hotel check-in.
- Overnight stay and dinner in Dalhousie Khajjiar hotel.
Day 2 Journey from Dalhousie to Khajjiar and Back
- After breakfast, visit Khajjiar.
Khajjiar is also known as Mini Switzerland owing to its surreal beauty. Visit Kalatop and Dainkund Peak on the way back to Dalhousie. - Move back to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Dalhousie hotel.
Day 3 Dalhousie to Manali (360 Kms)
- After breakfast, drive to Manali.
- On the way stop for sightseeing in Dharamshala.
- Reach Manali in the evening.
- Overnight stay at Manali hotel.
Day 4 Manali to Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley and Back to Manali
- After breakfast, you will visit Solang Valley and the not to be missed Rohtang Pass.
*Please note that Rohtang Pass is only open between May to October.
Rohtang Pass is situated 51 km from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (subject to weather conditions). - On the way back, you can enjoy Gulaba and other waterfalls.
- Reach back to Manali in the evening.

Day 5 Manali to Manikaran and Kasol
- After breakfast, visit 450 years old Hidimba Mata.
- Visit Van Vihar in Manali adorned with sky touching deodar trees and a beautiful lake.
- Pay a visit to Tibetan Monastery.
- Buy souvenirs from Handicraft Centre.
- Move to Kasol /Manikaran.
Manikaran is known for the group of hot water springs that lie in the Parvati valley of Kullu district near the bank of Parbati River. These hot water springs emerging at various locations spreading up to a distance of about 1.3 kms along the river from the old bridge to Brahmaganga. The springs at Manikaran come out to surface with pressure and are very hot. There is no sulphur or iron mixed in the waters, but it is said to be radioactive. The water of these springs is so hot that pulses (dal), rice, vegetables etc. can be boiled and cooked in it. - Reach back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 6 Kasol to Shimla (240 Kms)
- After breakfast, move to Shimla.
- On the way stop for sightseeing of attarctions like Sunder Nagger Lake, Pandoh dam.
- Reach Shimla in the evening.
- Overnight stay and dinner at Shimla hotel.
Day 7 Shimla to Kufri, Mashobra and Naldehra
- After breakfast, start for Kufri.
Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Yak Ride and horse ride. One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri. - Later, take a stroll in the apple orchards in Mashobra.
- Also visit Naldehra famous for dense forest.
- Take a jungle walk on the way back to Shimla.
- Overnight stay and dinner in Shimla hotel.
Day 8 Shimla to Chandigarh
- After breakfast, check out from hotel and start for Chandigarh.
- Drop at Chandigarh in the evening for onward journey.

The car journey was not comfortable.
We stayed at Le Osh hotel which is centrally located with reasonable room but very courteous service and good food.
The h (Read More)otel is centrally located and shops etc are nearby.
Walking early in the morning in the hilly terrain was real fun.
Lansdowne is an idyllic place for a short trip where you breathe fresh air and you're close to the nature. The Beauty Of Indian Himalayas tour operator provided a good car with excellent, well-mannered driver.
On the whole it was a very enjoyable trip for a long weekend.
